Thank you! We spent today getting some stuff done around the house, and I've been working on our annual YuleTube DVD. Almost have the list of clips finalized! I've been getting it finished before Halloween the past couple of years. It was hard to find enough material this year to fill an hour, but we managed!I am so pleased you had a good time and that the car didn't let you down on the drive home. Enjoy the rest of you three day weekend and happy anniversary!
I tried a couple times to reach gabulldawg, without success. I pray he's ok. I know real life can make folks very busy. I hope that's all it is. He last post was very concerning.
I think of his last post, and it really worries me. If only there were some way to find out if he's okay.I think about gabulldawg's last post often and pray that all is well.
Thinking of you~Husband is back on call starting tonight-and of course, not even an hour in, he's called in to respond to a significant event. And we've been told he needs to coordinate with the other staff to see what holidays he can get off based on coverage...
It's been a bit of a disappointing evening. I'm headed to community group from church. Will likely check back in when I return home. Hope you have a lovely start to your evening/sleep well to our across the pond friends!
Goodnight, friend~Goodnight all
That's the other reason I never even started with Facebook. Some days I think of deactivating FB. Too much drama and hate on there.
Tuck one of those afghans around your tootsies! (Of course, this suggestion comes way too late in the day.)Chilly willy morning....my bare piggies are stuffed down in-between the sofa cushions at the moment to get warm; hmmm maybe socks would help!... 40 degrees and the sun is popping up over the trees here at the house this morning. Perfect coffee weather....
What to do today? Well, I guess I have to cut grass, and then the rest of the day is a just go-with-the-flow kind of a day!
Yes, that was glorious!.....Then, the Packers came out with another victory to reach 5-0!.....
Packers look good. My picks look well unbelievable. I'm 8-1 so far this week against the spread. I have had a bad season till now in my work league. I probably just jinxed myself for today.
Yes, that was glorious!
Mine, too!!It certainly made my day!
Enjoy your reading!Well, husband's on-call call 40 minutes in has proved to be a lengthy ordeal, and he'll be out likely all night. His first night back at inpatient. Which leaves me in the apartment just kind of wondering what to do with myself since we normally get ready for the week together.
I'm going to get the burned popcorn smell out of my hair from our friends' house and settle in with a good book in the hopes that it helps things and helps me sleep tonight-these nights are always the worst.![]()
Christmas music might make an appearance in there as well...
Goodnight MMCers--see you in the morning as we encourage each other through another Monday!
My wife was totally shocked when I showed her only 10 Fridays until Christmas.
It's crazy when you think about it-we are so close! My wife was totally shocked when I showed her only 10 Fridays until Christmas.
Oreos are awesome!!!! Golden Oreos are pretty good. We always buy the Double Stuf Oreos when we get them. When we went to Six Flags last night we had Deep Fried Oreos, those were quite tasty.I'm not a big biscuit/cookie eater but I do LOVE Oreos. I recently tried the golden oreos- very nice especially with a tea or coffee.
I haven't heard anything from 'Dawg since February, I wish we knew how he is doing, I think of him often.I haven't seen or heard from dawg, unfortunately.
I keep updated with Seawaters on Facebook.
Thank God for FB, really. It's nice to see our MMC friends on there, too.
That's how I can keep up with a lot of my cousins and family who live out of state.
My wife and I graduated to smartphones last month, we absolutely love them. Have fun with learning the new toy.Good Evening all! Hope your day has been a good day. Guess what? I graduated from the land of dumb phones to the realm of smart phones....I got an I6!!! My old, trusty flip-phone, finally bit-the big-one after 6 years of constant use!!! Ok, now to figure this new thing out.....
I made 2 trips to the scrap yard this morning and made 150.00 bucks getting rid of old metal that was on my property and around my sheds and stuff. I have a third load on the truck now, for Monday afternoon. I also did a lot of organizing, cleaning up and weeding thru a lot of junk that I have, so I can whittle things down somewhat. I'm such a pack rat. I save everything, drives the wife nuts....So, I have been on a mission as of late, to start getting rid of things!!!!! We are getting ready to head out and get something to eat, do a little shopping and we'll be back soon! See ya all in a bit~
