Merry Tuesday Morning, MMC!

The season is coming so quickly--I'm REALLY starting to feel the joy already!!! I hope you are too.

Work today should be pretty normal, and then enjoying a relaxing evening. Husband is once again on call, so I likely won't see him. I could complain, but it just gives me more "me" time, to look on the bright side! He's a great guy, and I'm proud of the work he does!

I ordered my first birthday gift for my sister today-I have two sisters and our birthdays are all the week of Thanksgiving in the US-it's like a holiday explosion! And the start of the Christmas season too--it's crazy fun! Love getting ready for gift giving!

Starting my day with Christmas music and a nice cup of hot tea. Have a LOVELY day everyone!!! I know Crown's numbers will blow our minds again as soon as he posts them! See you tonight!

Good morning everyone, Happy Tuesday!
I'm having a cup of coffee and relaxing for a few minutes but I need to get moving. Everyone will be up soon so I need to start cooking breakfasts and packing lunches.
Typical day of errands & chores and I'll squeeze a workout in at some point. Forgot to mention that my husband picked up a beautiful home gym for me. He still has to set it up, he's going to try and get it done tonight. We have a finished basement that we don't use for anything so he's going to set all of our exercise equipment up down there. It should be nice, I think the whole family will use it.

And how much longer must we wait for the Big Guy?
Well, let's inspect the numbers, which dwindle down by the day:
Days to Halloween: 18 (Barely over 2 1/2 weeks!)
Days to the Season: 31 (ONE MONTH FROM TODAY!!)
Days to Christmas Day: 73 (Now UNDER 10 1/2 weeks!)

The days are getting shorter, my Friends.
Are you ready -- ready for the inevitable??


Quite nice here in central NC yesterday, with plenty of sun, no rain and not a smidgen of excess temperature.
Today? Well, there's a slight chance of precip, but all in all, it should come pretty close to being a carbon copy of yesterday.
The morning has commenced here at 63 degrees.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a busy afternoon yesterday. I took my lawn mower back to Jim's shop and we confirmed it needed more work. Then we took Elizabeth to dance practice, and made our weekly trip to Walmart. We did get the KFC $20 Family Fill-up Bucket, so that was a treat for me!

Jim says the guy is still interested in buying my engine. We just need to get a total cost to build another one before we agree to sell it. Jim thinks the 350cid might be too small; now he's thinking 383 Stroker. Lord, help me!

We never made it to my uncles for his 95th birthday last night. Hopefully he had a good turn out! We will have to stop & visit with him another day!
Tonight my sis is cutting my hair while cut/coloring my other sisters hair & then we are all going out to eat Mexican after! YUM!
Gracie was all wound up this morning - the birds in our tree were making her crazy!! LOL! If she could have climbed that tree, she would have!
That's about it from me today!

That is some crazy weather! We hit 79º yesterday, but today is only predicted to hit 63º! Gracie & I went for a convertible ride last night. LOL!

Oh, now I see how to post a full picture from my phone! That's what I was trying to do yesterday. Elizabeth and her friend painted these hay bails yesterday afternoon in Bellville. I love it!

Not to worry. I only recently figured out how to make the photos big too (Thanks Snowflake ) Anyway I managed to click on your first photo and they expanded. The hay bales are brilliant! Great job to the girls.

They are cute!

I know how gracie feels. During summer there are some birds that start cawing and screeching at the crack of dawn and in my part of the world that is 4AM during summer!!! Sheesh talk about annoying.

I am sure your uncle had a great time.

PTO is the BEST isn't it? I'm taking next weekend off (not this one but the next) from Thursday through Sunday for our anniversary getaway! Can't wait!!!! Have a great Tuesday--it'll fly by!

Yes we work for PTO and a paycheck don't we?
I value my PTO...I save it up and take my days here and there instead of a long vacation.
