Weekend here again! I would have loved to have a lie in this morning but with my kids that's impossible :D What are you guys up today?

I am having a lazy saturday. During the week is hectic and I am constantly on my feet plus I will be in work tomorrow. So on a Saturday I like not having to be anywhere. Funny how the mood changes with the seasons. In the summer our saturdays were busy but come autumn I enjoy cosy weekends in most times :)

Well have a great start to the weekend everyone!

You're right. Weekends during the summer you feel like going out more. Once the fall comes...I'm ready more to relax a little bit more.
 
Good Saturday Morning MMC! It's currently 42 degrees under sunny skies in the suburbs of NY. We are expecting a high temperature today of 54 degrees under partly cloudy skies. A bit chilly today for us for mid-October. Oh well it will warm up by next week again well in to the 60s so I can take a few days with a bit of a chill (especially since it's the weekend!)
The time of year definitely has changed I can tell even from my routines. In the summer, on the weekends I'm ready to go running early to beat the hot sun. However, now in the chilly temperatures I'm more waiting for that sun to strengthen up a bit to make it a little less cold. Not quite in as much of a rush to go but I will still go around the same time as usual. Other than that I plan on watching a bunch of Halloween shows today. It's definitely time now. I have some errands to do but having these 3 days off will give me time to spread it out more than a normal weekend.
I hope everyone has a great start to their weekend. We worked all week to get here so let's enjoy it shall we? Talk to you guys later!

Well, sadly, last night, my wife's grandfather took a turn for the worse and today the hospital said they could do no more and sent him to a Hospice. You know what that means...They told my wife and Mil that it could be 2 days, 2 weeks or a month, they just didn't know exactly..... So, it's now the waiting process which in a lot of ways is worse than something happening suddenly...

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I didn't sleep well last night, but that happens pretty often. I finally got back to sleep around 2am, then I overslept to 7:30. Lulu was on her toes, ready to go outside, bless her heart! It is chilly this morning! I love it!

Now I'm sitting on the couch, watching the news and having reduced-fat Oreos & coffee. Just right!

I have to take Elizabeth to Nutcracker practice in a couple hours.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

I love when you're having your oreos...because then I know it's the weekend :).

Weekend part I.
Now, that guarantees a Good Morning.

So does this:
Days to Halloween: 14 (TWO weeks from TODAY!)
Days to the Season: 27 (Less than 4 weeks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 69 (Under 10 weeks remain!)

(Ah. The numbers. Guaranteed to please!)


Cooler yesterday but still reasonably pleasant.
But it will get colder by the day, starting with this morning where we have awakened to 45 degrees and the promise of near freezing temps in the near future.
What a change!
(And not a good one.)


Well, we are off to the North Carolina State Fair, a traditional pilgramage we make each year at this time.

It is going to be sunny with a high of 55 today. It's a bit chilly out there right now, we are currently at 44 degrees. Had to put a little jacket on Maggie this morning before she went outside.:)
Not too much going on here, my husband and the girls all have to work. I have some shopping to do this morning and then I'll be working on some chores around the house. Should be a relaxing evening, we plan on getting take out for dinner and watching the Islander game.
