Good morning, friends~
Merry Sunday!
Go Pack, Go!
It'll be a few projects around the house today, and football for us.
At least we don't play each other's teams today ;) Those days are always fun! Ha
Wishing you all a blessed day with those dearest to your heart.

We took our granddaughter to the Fall Fest in Canton, Texas yesterday. We had the best time ever! It was a nice farm with friendly people running it. They will have it ready for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving with the tree farm ready to go! Below is a roller coaster we rode, Santa's Runaway Sleigh! We have held off going because it's been so hot but yesterday was cool enough to wear light jackets in the morning and got up to 80 by mid afternoon. Great weather!!!

How fun CAH, I'm glad you guys had a good time!
Hope you have a wonderful day!

She's feeling good this weekend, thanks!
We are spending a lot of time together.
How is Maggie doing?

That's wonderful, I'm so happy to hear that! ♥
Maggie's doing pretty well, her cough is much better. The little stinker is still waking up at night. She usually wants to go outside around 2:00am but she goes back to sleep after so I'm not going to complain. Thank you for asking!

Marathons are overrated. I like to run a good 3 miles every day...but yeah running is not for everyone. It's good you made that lifestyle change. It really is a lifestyle. That's why I think a lot of people struggle with "diets." You just need to really change your life...but you also have to enjoy things you like eating (hence this delicious waffle and bacon I just ate for breakfast).

I don't do sweets or fatty foods because I lack the control to only have a little so I stay clear of them, I wouldn't recommend that practice for everyone, but it works better for me that way.

Good Morning MMC !

we had snwo last night and still coming down this morning

I see you've sent the fluffy stuff my way. It's too early, I don't even know if my winter boots are still in good condition. Guess I better check them out. This stuff will likely melt before the day is over. The cat just let us know of his disappointment at the sight of the stuff he can't catch it's moving too fast.

Ive got to have chocolate bar every day..Whats the saying again a bar a day keeps the doctor away..or is it an apple a day lol

I actually think, at least for me personally, that Thanksgiving might be my 2nd favorite DAY of the year after Christmas Eve. I know Christmas Day is "it" but it really is "it" if you know what I mean as in sorta the ending/climax to the season...with Thanksgiving you wake up feeling like now the world is just beginning Christmas season and we have everything ahead of us.
That's why I still get that thrill when Santa caps off the Macy's Parade ... when I was little, I used to race home (from next door, where I watched the Macy's Parade on my grandparents' color TV) to play Christmas records, which Mom didn't want to hear before Thanksgiving.

Ozzy was my first concert too. It was the 84 tour, Motley Crue opened. It was awesome! Did you get to see Randy Rhoads? I would have loved to have seen him live.

Nope, he died I think in March and I saw them in concert in April....The replacement guitarist I believe was from Night Ranger. I can't remember who opened up for them.

I still remember the first moment I felt old ... when my cousins and I were talking about 8-track tapes, and my youngest cousin said "What's 8-track??"

Mr. worked with a guy who had never even heard of Jimmy Cagney. Ouch ...

Last Thursday, I went out to lunch with 7 other co-workers, (I was the oldest). I told them that this one guy in the office reminded me of Groucho Marx...I got 7 blank stares...Not a single one there, knew who Groucho Marx was! What a pitty....So, I had to do a little educating. Yes, they were all in their 20's and 30's while I will be 52 in a few weeks....

Thank you!
So happy to hear that the antibiotic's have been working, and Maggie's cough is much better ❤️ She is a cute little stinker, but relieved she goes back to bed right away after going outside =] Wonderful news!

Actually I have a brother like that. He has to go extreme cause if he eats one chocolate bar...he'll go crazy and eat 10. Good you found out what works for you and you're doing it.

Yeah I think it's like we're "allowed" to start celebrating on Thanksgiving because even people who hate the holidays admit that on Thanksgiving it's time for them.
