I thought that I had a great Halloween weekend holiday...till I saw your pics. Wow you really had fun :).
LOL ~ it was very nice....minus everyone closing up & heading home for the winter! ;) I'm glad you had a good weekend too!!

Good morning MMC! It's Monday.... But it's the 1st Monday in NOVEMBER!!!! WOW!!! This was probably posted yesterday but I saw it this morning & it made me smile...

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! It was our last weekend out at the lake. Saturday we made burgers & smoked sausage over the open fire for lunch. And then we had a chili dump in our kettle over the fire with hot dogs & sausages for supper (chili dogs) ~ lots of fun & yummy!

It was sad for everybody to close up for the winter though. Our trailer hasn't been winterized yet. We figured it's supposed to be in the 70's almost all week so we will do ours next weekend!
I made a spooky snack too...

And Gracie was feeling festive...

And when I told her it was time to go home....she hid under the patio table! (little stinker)

Ok, that's it from me this morning!!
Happy Monday! (wish me luck trying to catch up w/ everything you chatty peeps talked about over the weekend...ha ha!)

always a bit sad to say goodbye to one season and all the fun ! Looks like you all had a fantastic wrap up. (and a delicious one !)

Synced up my Christmas music library this weekend. Over 1,700 songs this year! The library is actually bigger than that, but I didn't think I'd have enough free GB to sync up the whole thing.

After some technical difficulties, I'm finally finished with our annual YuleTube DVD. Now I can devote more time to finishing my audio projects. Then it'll be decorating, shopping, Christmas cards, gift-wrapping, and all that good stuff!

Good evening everyone. Well my day started out great until I received a call about my daughter passing out at work. We ended up in the ER for hours. Thankfully her test results were all normal, not sure what caused it. Praying it was just a random one time thing. I'm exhausted from the stress of it all so I'm going to turn in. I'll catch up with everyone tomorrow. See you in the morning, goodnight.
just read about this, how is she doing this morning ?
Praying all is well ((((HUGS))))

I too am excited about all the Christmas stuff I get to do !!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's wet and warm and yucky around here today...BUT IT'S NOVEMBER!!:D

Saturday was a big day for me. My brother and I sold the engine out of my Camaro to a guy who was willing to pay big $$ for it, so I spent several hours unbolting it from the car, getting it ready to go.

Then we did the Trick-or-Treat in Bellville. It was my first year with both of my kids feeling they were finally too old to T-or-T. Sad! But Jacob helped me hand out candy, and talked about stuff for a couple hours, so I enjoyed that.

That night, we went to a local restaurant owned by an old friend of mine. We've both played in different bands for years, but his current band is his children. It sounds hokey, but NOT! They rolled out! They were playing songs from Journey, Heart, Kansas...all those old wonderful early-80's bands. I LOVED IT!! Then Jacob's guitar teacher's band got up and played. Another great show!

The only negative through the weekend was my twice-failed efforts to close and cover the pool. Grrrr.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!!

While I truly love Halloween, I am excited for tomorrow. For my family and me, the Christmas season begins tomorrow! Tomorrow morning the Halloween decor comes down, both inside and outside.
Next Friday, the kids and I have school off... so, the inside Christmas decor comes out of the shed. My six year, Henry, and I will start to put up the decorations in the living room. I will check all of the lights and get ready to put up the 1st of 6 Christmas. The 1st tree will go up on Saturday the Nov. 7th.

Your post made me :D! How exciting!!! Have fun!

opposite weather here, going to be warm and sunny all week, really going to enjoy that !
The year the last of my kids were all to old to trick or treat was different too, not a bad different just different. I started driving for the pumpkin patrol that year and it was a new fun ting to do.
Glad to hear you all had such a great time out as well.

Sounds like you had a good weekend. That is a little sad that the kids are too old to trick or treat but handing out candy will keep you in the Halloween spirit in the future!

Same weather here and I'm not complaining...there's plenty of time ahead for it to be cold and feel like the holidays.

Well on another note, I received a response from the job interview that I went on this past Wednesday, they told me that the top 3 owners met and all agreed that they want for me to come on board, but not yet. The would like for me to wait until they re-evaluate their fiscal position as a company in January and in-between now and then, if someone leaves or something changes, I am #1 on their list to be hired. So, good and not so good news overall. Basically, stand-by and wait~
Sorry you have to play the waiting game!! I'll be praying everything works out for the best!! xx

Happy Halloween, MMC!!!!! I hope everyone has had a great Holiday!!!!! We are entering The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!!!
