It's ridiculously nice outside. I bought a grilled chicken roasted peppers and mozzarella on pita bread. Was delicious.

It IS ridiculously nice!! Wish it wasn't going to get dark so darn early!!!

Good morning everyone, Happy Tuesday!
Just a quick hello, I'm heading out soon to run a few errands. I feel like I'm already behind schedule today. I had to drive my middle one to the train station earlier, she has job training in the city for the next few days. She texted me a little while ago to let me know she made it there safe and sound. I'm a nervous wreck because she's traveling to and from by herself. Thankfully it all went well. I'm glad my kids aren't scaredy cats like I am. I had the Sirius Christmas stations on in the car this morning, it makes me so happy! Well I've got to run, I'll be back later. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

it can be hard to let them go, but your raised them right and taught them how to be safe, now you have to believe they learned well. I had to learn the same lessons with mine....they are all still alive and happy !

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm still stoked that Star Trek is coming back to TV!!

Thunderstorms and 73° at daylight this morning. Yuck! But it's supposed to clear up tomorrow, I hope.

I had my second-to-last council meeting last night, and it was a busy one. We're having some trouble with a contractor that we've hired, so we're calling him in to explain himself during the next meeting. Rats. I wanted my last meeting to be light and fun, maybe with some reminiscing. Now it's going to be irritating. LOL Oh, well. I hate to leave a mess for the next mayor, so I'll clean it up before I leave.

Voting day! Since no one qualified against the next mayor, we won't have an election in Bellville, but a couple of the other cities in the county have some hotly contested races. It'll be interesting to see the outcome tonight!

Evening all. Just found out Starbucks have their Christmas range out today and Costa have theirs out on Thursday. Nothing says it's nearly Xmas like an orange hot chocolate with mince pie.

It is impossible to predict British weather especially where I am. Our weather forecasters are honest about it and the week long forecast will often come with a disclaimer . We are used to it. I admire the long term forecasts in the US. For us the climate is just very unsettled. It's nature.

It's very warm for this time of year. I fear a mild winter on the cards . I want snow, sniff.

Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday!!! What a gorgeous day!! Nothing but sunshine & we're heading to a high of 73º! Not too often I can feel totally comfortable wear shorts in November. Hubby took the convertible to work today. Ha ha! Tomorrow we have a high of 75º but partly cloudy. I'm going to enjoy it!!

Last night at the remembrance mass they played a song I had never heard before...the choir sang it beautifully along with the organ being played beautifully, I had to look it up this morning & I found it. I don't think there was a dry eye in the place (for sure not in our pew...) This song is called "Don't cry for me" - well that's like telling your stomach not to growl when you're starving. Anyway...beautiful song:

we are having an amazingly beautiful day here too it is currently 21c (70f) hard to believe it is November.
we will have our remembrance day service this coming Sunday, so glad yours was so nice, always important to remember those who gave so much for us.
