Good afternoon, Coen~Have a great Sunday, everyone! I had a very busy day yesterday so unfortunately I have not been able to get online. I did not have a matchday so I ended up coaching two teams instead. Both of them won with the highest score possible, so that was great.
I hope you all had a great day yesterday, a great day today and a merry Monday tomorrow![]()

SPECIAL POST NOVEMBER 8, 2015I remember when I was 7 and I received a gift from Santa on Christmas morning. It was a gift that I had wanted all year. I remember the excitement that I felt when I opened it, turning to my mom and saying "I got it because I said God bless you when someone sneezes." My mom smiled at me.
I remember when I was 10 and my younger siblings and I became so obsessed with Christmas that we started our own little daily "meetings" late at night after we were supposed to be sleeping and vowed to keep those meetings going all year long because we loved Christmas so much. We'd just lay there together and talk about Christmas time and how special it was.
I remember when I was 12 and my dad (who had gotten cancer earlier that year in the summer) sat in his chair weak but would not let the tradition of reading "Twas the night before Christmas" to his kids stop. I remember laying in bed listening to him and knowing in my heart that would be the last time that he would read this to me on Christmas Eve. He passed away about 6 weeks later.
We're expected to love Christmas when we're a kid. But now that we're adults we at MMC love Christmas more than we ever did as children. Why? I have often asked myself that question. Maybe it's because in a world that often feels as if it's in turmoil, one of the very few things we can count on getting BETTER each year is the Christmas season.
We started our journey in January and February in the depths of winter sad, missing our Christmas season that just had passed. We came out of those darker/colder days to days of hope in March and April with spring time and Easter. We continued our voyage into May and June with the summer time beginning and Memorial Day. We moved through the hardcore summer into July and August as we started seeing Christmas on t.v. with "Christmas in July." We hit the "bers" with September and October as we moved from summer into Autumn and the month of our beloved Halloween. Now we are here in November with the Christmas season about to begin and Thanksgiving just a few weeks away. And last but certainly not least we have December ahead of us...the month of Christmas.
The year only gets better as it goes forward. Fittingly, Christmas falls in the last month of the year because of course as the saying goes "save the best for last."
MMC is a special place. It's the best website on the internet with some of the best people around the world. I've been to plenty of sites before but none are as accepting and awesome as the fine people of MMC. I'd like to personally thank all of you for accepting me and for accepting each other.
In closing, I just want to say that I hope each and every one of you has the best Christmas season of your entire lives this year. Enjoy every moment that you can. Even through the busy times, with work, school, kids, etc. take some time for yourself to "stop" and take it all in. After all, we've had a long 300+ day journey to get to this point. The Christmas season is upon us. Smile and be happy for this is the most special time of the year to us. We're here. While it's great to remember the memories from our past (as I stated some of mine at the beginning of this), I want you all to focus on the present and making new Christmas Season memories every moment that you can this year.
Merry Christmas to all of us at MMC. Let it begin...
Thanks Sam. You too.Thank you kindly Edge for sharing such moving memories and heartfelt thoughts. I wish you the very best for the upcoming Christmas season..

Thank you!!! How are you doing! I miss you!!! Hope all is well with you. You are in my thoughts always. (((Hugs)))Have a great day at work, Festive!!!
Good Morning, MMC, and happy Sunday! Thanks to Edge for a great kickoff to countdown week! I really liked his post, and I know all of the posts coming up will be equally as wonderful!
I've got to work for just a bit this morning, but then I'm going to spend the afternoon doing laundry and trying to relax with my husband. We're going to housesit for friends of ours who had to leave the country suddenly for a family emergency in England, so we're going to be over there some as well. I watched a lot of Christmas movies yesterday for the first time--some ABC Family and some Hallmark ones I hadn't seen before!
Hope you all have a wonderful and merry Sunday! Enjoy your afternoon and hopefully good time with loved ones.
Very welcome and thank you. Thanks Sam. You too.

I feel your pain. Watching a very ugly Packers vs. Panthers game.Jets barely survived the Jaguars today. But a win is a win is a win.
Sorry you had a rough night and you don't feel well, lovely. ((hugs)) Prayers for healing and well being for both of you! xxxThank you!! Will do!
I'm sorry to hear that!
(((hugs)))
I was up with Harlowe some, too.
And it feels like I'm coming down with something. The joys!
xx
Well that's good. Relax now that your long day is over!Very welcome and thank you.
You did an excellent job! It brightened my evening after a very long, hectic day at work!
I know. I picked the Packers in that game in my work league. Been hoping they'd come back lol.I feel your pain. Watching a very ugly Packers vs. Panthers game.
Wouldn't be surprised Crown if we see a rematch in January in the NFC title game.Sad and glad.
Panthers won.
Packers lost.
I couldn't win and couldn't loose on this one. (Or vice versa)
Hope you both sleep much better tonightEvening all!
I really want to catch up here a bit more but I am shattered after a long day. Didn't sleep well either as my youngest had an unsettled night.
Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!
