I love this post. If made me realise, a year later, how special it was to meet up with Pattyjo in her neck of the wood. I think i realise now even more then i did last year.Resilient:
Despite a world that is moving too fast and changing by the minute, we have a community that is steadfast in holding on to the very thing that harkens us back to a simpler time. It is a time of goodwill, and deep values of togetherness, thoughtfulness, and genuine concern and care. We have never "officially" met. Sure, we Facebook, yet we do not physically visit each other. However, we share with one another tragedies and joy. We send each other gifts and notes. We cyber visit and year to year we move ahead united with one thing in common: we love the holidays and we daily think about each other.
I repeat my annual refrain: in a world surely gone mad, we adamantly refuse to become cynical. We are together, we are community, we are genuine, and we are resilient. We are the family of My Merry Christmas.
And so it has come to this: four days until the season.
Sure did!Hello everyone. I hope you all have a great week!
Morning,CS!!

Same to you Ryan,
Glad to hear you had such a great time this weekend. Look at those little rascals. They look like they are having a ball! Enjoy shopping tomorrow! Hope you find the perfect gifts!
Good luck with the tooth extraction! You will be able to put behind you soon. Big week ahead!
Good morning! Enjoy your day!
Afternoon!
I know what you mean. I am struggling with new ideas for my youngest especially as he only just had a birthday! Good luck!
Good to hear all pecans where sold!Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
We got all of mama's pecans gathered and sold at the market Saturday, so she's relieved to finally have that behind her for another year. It's a job, but the automation makes it a LOT easier than the old way of hiring people to pick them up by hand. That used to take forever!
After church yesterday, we went to mama's for lunch and stayed all afternoon. It rained all day, so I took a nap in her recliner. She collects clocks, and all the ticking sounds knock me right out LOL.
Still rainy and cool today, but it's supposed to clear up tomorrow. I hope!
And I hope y'all have a great day!![]()
I certainly did! Hopefully I can only be down about $100 after the selling of my old tires.Sounds like you got some good deals over the weekend.
Good luck at the dentist & I hope you get some calls for tomorrow & Wed!! Have a great day!
I love it to read your excitement about your brother coming over!Yeah there's just something special about someone coming home for the holidays. I hope your brother will come home for Christmas.
I'll keep you all in my prayers.Thank you so much, Holiday!
Adrian is taking her at 3:00, I think the plan is blood work. At least, that's what she said last time if her symptoms persisted. I pray they don't take long for the results. I am a nervous wreck <3
Take care of each other.Well it's almost quitting time here! Tonight we have to go to a funeral viewing ~ our friends Mom passed away!I need to make cinnamon rolls too - and I won't be around tomorrow b/c I'll be shopping with the neighbor ladies!! I'll try to check in later tonight though if I have time!
Have a wonderful evening MMC!!!

Yes, if I can't meet up in person I'll definitely be there by Skype or whatever options they have! It's a bit too far for me to travel, but hopefully I can Skype in, or something.
Thank you, JollyHeather~I'll keep you all in my prayers.
Meeting sounds ok...supper sounds betteroff to a meeting in a bit, then supper when I get home.
Thanks! This time of year especially we gotta love every minute of it that we can...I love it to read your excitement about your brother coming over!
Love every minute!
My insurance changed a couple of years ago and my dentist didn't accept it but...they had 2 options. 1 was in-network and 1 was out of network. If your dentist didn't accept their plan you could take the out of network option (I think you pay a little more for it) and you can go to any dentist still. I'm not sure if they have that option in your plan though because I do not know a lot about insurances.Okay ... meeting of the financial support club ...
Workplace is changing our dental insurance the first of the year, and our dentist doesn't accept the new insurance. And we're both in the middle of expensive treatments ... so we either have to pay 100% ourselves, or switch in midstream to unknown dentists that accept our insurance. It's made me crazy all afternoon.
The dental office told me that have no "contract" with our new insurance. In our current insurance, we are out of network, but they at least have a "contract" with the insurance. So after the first of the year, there would be no out-of-network option, as far as our dental office is concerned. That won't do.My insurance changed a couple of years ago and my dentist didn't accept it but...they had 2 options. 1 was in-network and 1 was out of network. I guess they won't consider picking it up? Sorry to hear about that. Good morning everyone, Happy Monday!
I'm heading out soon, I have a few errands to run. Back home after to work on some chores around the house. I have so much laundry to do, I slacked this weekend!
Hoping to do a little online Christmas shopping if I have the time. I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas for the girls, it was so much easier when they were little!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and has a great week ahead!
