Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good evening,

A very long day today, worked all day, the turkey sales really took off today, this weekend promises to be an extremely busy one.
After work I picked up my boys and my grandfather and we went to the Springfield Falcons hockey game, it was a great game the Falcons won 6-3. It is great to have my boys spend time with their great grandfather, they are in awe of his age, he is 93 years old.
We just got home at 1030, and I finally heard about what happened in Paris, they had a moment of silence at the game, I hadn't heard about it at that point.
I will keep them all in my thoughts.

Back to work in the morning.

['Tis the season]

It is so scary. I am waiting to find out news about a couple friends there. Beyond heartbreaking and so close to here that it is also very frightening.

I hope you've got information on your friends festive.

it's so tragic.
We are still waiting to make sure that everybody in our family is OK
My in-laws live 25 miles from Paris
My sister-in-law is supposed to fly out tomorrow, making a special stop to see me here.
So tragic we are immune to this when we live in the USA it happens so much.
A sign of the changing times in the world when all these other countries are affected.
My heart goes out to all the hostages and prayers for their family's.
It's very difficult to be so far away from my loved ones there's nothing to do but prayers at this point.
Sorry typo .. We know our family is OK I meant to say our friends and Paris are OK.

I am sorry I can't keep up with replies today.

I have finally got the gas to the cooker reconnected! He came at 5pm and almost didn't make it. I have been waiting all day!

Tonight I plan on watching some christmas movies and relaxing with a mulled cider and new spiced apple candle! Bliss!

Thanks Tis. I finally heard from him this morning. He is okay apart from being shaken up and angry and he says our other friends are ok too. Thank goodness.

Good morning!! Why am I awake? I dunno??? I must be excited to go Christmas Open house shopping with my lake friends! We are meeting at 8:30 - 9:00, going to the hardware store for German Family Christmas & possibly a couple other stores involved in the open house day... then to my favorite crafty store "Country Lane" then out for pizza & the Buckeye game at noon! Have a Super Saturday MMC!! Go Bucks!!

Have a good Saturday, everyone! Right now I am watching the yearly arrival of Sinterklaas on TV. It's a children's fest we celebrate over here. It is always good fun. Later today I will play a match and go to a party after. Should be fun!
