** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 5 **

Good Morning, Seasonal Super Stars!

Yes, the Season IS super, isn't it?
And, it's only just begun. We still have over 45 more days ahead of us!

And still the count goes on:
Days to Thanksgiving: 9 (SINGLE DIGITS!!)
Days to Christmas Day: 38 (Under 5 1/2 weeks!)

And say, now. I'll bet you think all of our Milestones have passed.
Not so.
One more remains. It's the 90 percent Home Stretch mark to Christmas Day and it's THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!
No foolin'. Just check out the chart.
(Isn't this a great time of the year?)

A bit warmer yesterday than Sunday, and that trend is predicted to continue to tomorrow, when 70 is possible. Then we cool off again.
This morning has commenced at 47 degrees here in our neck of the MMC woods.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Folks!
Thanks Crown. You're right this time of year is so awesome.

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! It's currently 35 degrees under sunny skies. We are expecting a forecast high temperature today of 50 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Chilly but really back to normal type temperatures.
What's going on this Tuesday with everyone? Getting more excited by the day, the hour, or even the minute? I am. I feel like no matter what goes on at work it can't stop me from the holiday fun that is upon us. We decided this year to do a little "Secret Santa" at work (there's only 4 of us in my department). I have no idea what to get the person I picked (even though he's my best friend of the 3 there). He's around 30ish and married. Any suggestions? Supposed to spend between $50-$100.
Maybe a gift card to a nice restaurant that he and his wife can enjoy?

We don't do Secret Santa in our office, but I give something small to the two or three people I work most closely with. We ARE having our second annual Potluck Thanksgiving on Monday! And, bless my supervisor, she got an artificial tree for the office two years ago. Then everyone decorates it with odds and ends. I have a toy wooden barn (my dad's when he was a toddler) in the office, and after Thanksgiving I fill it with Rudolph characters and put the Bumble on top. Gosh, I'm looking forward to decorating around my desk again! The past couple years I've been going in Thanksgiving weekend to so it's all up when people come in the following Monday.

Merry Morning, MMC! A happy Tuesday to you!

Today I have work, and then I'm leaving early because I'm playing in my city's pops band with the Army Chorus this afternoon! WOOHOO! Excited for the concert!

I'm really having a good week so far, and I hope you all are too. Eyeing the recliner in our living room and wondering if we can convince my husband and his best friend to move it out of here Saturday so we can get ready for our Christmas tree!

I CAN'T BELIEVE it's time to even think about that!

Have an awesome day!
Oh, I wish I could hear that concert!
And yes, I've been looking around my house too with the eye that says "Now what will have to be moved so I can get the decorating done?"! I'll be starting the day before Thanksgiving.

Thank you so much!
If we make an offer for a lot in December, we could potentially move in April or May.
I think they said the building would take @ 4 months. Exciting & ahhhh! :)
The hotel will hopefully open in May, so a lot at once.

Glad that the furnace is working great!
Have fun decorating!! ❤️
VERY exciting to be building a house! I hope it will be everything you want.

Have fun decorating!! ❤️

Wow that's pretty quick and yes very exciting. With the opening of the new hotel as well , your off to a very hectic start to the year!

Hope everyone has had a decent Monday...everyone at work today was talking about Thanksgiving week and all the days off we're going to have for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
It's so exciting!!!

Another milestone has crept up on me ... the weekend before Thanksgiving, I usually visit a local garden center that is chock-full of ornament-laden Christmas trees, lights, villages, figurines, stockings, mugs, garlands, and all things Christmas, just to get into the spirit!
Sounds wonderful.
How are you feeling today? I hope your spirits have lifted.
xx

wow, this is really nice, think of the time it would take to set this up !
I know ~ I can't imagine!! It would have to stay up for a LONG time to make it worth the time! :)

You're welcome!
My day went pretty well, thanks. Ran a couple of errands, worked on a few chores and got some Christmas shopping done. I also had to go to pick up antibiotics this evening for Maggie, unfortunately her cough is flaring up again. This time the specialist wants her on the antibiotics for two months. I hope she takes them for me. She took her first dose tonight so we're off to a good start.
I hope your day went well and that you have a good night.
Sending hugs back your way! ♥️
xo
Hoping & praying Maggie will take the antibiotics & they will take care of her cough for good! xx

May be crazy to say but I think Thanksgiving is my 2nd favorite day of the year (behind Christmas Eve). Christmas Day is awesome...but with Thanksgiving you are just starting all the holidays.
I probably have to agree with that. The last few years we haven't had plans on Christmas Day & it's almost a let down...Christmas Eve is over...the build up is over! Still a great day, but I would have to go with T-day & Christmas Eve being my faves!! :) (it's all good...)

Good evening,

Just watching the Bengals game right now, they lead, the defense looks good, but I am hoping the offense gets moving.
I get through tomorrow to get my next day off. Then I work 6 in a row and have Wednesday, and Thanksgiving day off. The final push is here.

I hope you all had a great day.

Goodnight, everyone.

Go Bengals!!!
Hope your day at work goes well today! I'm sure you are looking forward to 2 days off in a row, and especially eating that turkey! ;)

And we have tornadoes on the ground in the state. In November! Only in Oklahoma. It's far west of us right now but we are under a watch. I just hope everyone is safe!

I hope you all have a great night.
Good morning Ryan! Praying everyone stayed safe!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a rainy day here but that's okay. At least I don't have to shovel it!!! Speaking of which, that dreaded S word is in the forecast for saturday night. Doesn't sound like it will be very much though so that's okay. Not to much going on today. I've had my youngest niece since yesterday morning. She has pneumonia and had to stay off of school yesterday and today. So I'll just be hanging out with her until her mom picks her up this afternoon. Then I need to run to the store to pick up a few things for Thanksgiving before they go off of sale. Praying for all of you. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Good Morning, MMC~
Merry Christmas!!
And Happy Tuesday!
Wishing you all a blessed and beautiful day!

Good morning snowflake! Love that picture! So magical!

Good morning Snowflake22...I did at long last get my tree decorated last night but with complications lol..We finished decorating the tree at midnight then i just stood looking at the tree and said there is something missing on it...I just got that funny look from my wife and she said whats wrong with it i said it needs white lights on it...She went to bed and i took it all down and redecorated it and finished it about 1.30am..The family got up at 6pm and went WOW..She said right decision..will post pictures later this week sometime:)
As long as it turned out the way you wanted, it was worth staying up til 1:30 am! LOL! Have a good day Prancer. Can't wait to see pictures!!!

Thank you =]
I have! Finished late Sunday night.
We did just a small portion of my village, because if we put an offer in on a house, we'll have to slowly start packing at the beginning of the year, and I didn't want to be overwhelmed any more than I have to be. If that's possible ;)
How about you?
How is your new furnace working? Keeping you guys cozy I hope,
I'm glad you were able to put up at least a little of your beautiful village!!
