Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Morning, Happy Home Stretchers.

And indeed my Friends, we are into the final leg our our long voyage to Christmas 2015, having passed our last Milestone yesterday.
Nothing now stands between us and the Big Day.
(Well, actually Thanksgiving does. But that's a good thing!)

Days to Thanksgiving: 6 (Now UNDER ONE WEEK to go!!)
Days to Christmas Day: 35 (FIVE weeks from TODAY!)

Some rain yesterday morning, and it accompanied the last warm day we are going to have for a while. Today will be much cooler, then by Monday our lows are supposed to be in the 20's.
(That will certainly be an atmospheric shock!)
Today has dawned clear and sunny at 50 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Folks.
Not to mention a Wildly Wondrous Weekend Eve!

Well after a very warm start to November, it's all suddenly changed. Blizzards, Arctic gales,storms and a cold snap are moving in and we are expecting our first snow tonight. Brrrr it's currently 1C. I can't wait for everyone to be safe at home for Christmassy evening plans.

I watched The Christmas Secret last night. I only saw it once before. I really like it. Not sure which movie we are watching tonight yet.

I hope everyone is having a good Friday and ready for a festive weekend! Good luck to all making thanksgiving plans. Room for one more??

Sounds like tonight will be a great night there for cozy plans, like movies and hot cocoa!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

The Nutcracker Ballet premiers tonight! I look forward to this every year, and tonight is even more special...it's Elizabeth's 15th birthday, and our 21st anniversary! Our anniversary has taken a back seat for the last, oh, 15 years

, but our daughter is the gift that keeps on giving!

After the ballet, we're taking her out to eat, then to the late-night premier of The Hunger Games. She's a big fan, and we're taking her best friend with us. It's going to be a looonnnggg day. Whew!

A friend of mine is coming over to see my Christmas decorations, and to cheer the holiday season with a glass of wine. She just started collecting a Christmas village, and she wants to see how I set mine up. It should be fun!

Good afternoon christmas friends...Hope everyone is having a good day so far...Not long back from the docs as girls got there flu vaccine,as i thought Twin B screamed the place down but eventually managed to get the vaccine,Then went to the toy shop to buy the girls a toy for there bravery..Enjoy the rest of your Friday christmas friends

We used to have the same troubles. Jacob would tough it out, but Elizabeth would fight like a cornered cat! A trip to Toys-R-Us always made it better, though.
