Quick in and quick out as I am in hurry up and get r done mode for an out of town conference. My hubbins and the cat will be alone for three nights. Looking forward to this business trip with a bit of social fun scheduled for the evening. I'm flying. I like flying, but my ears don't enjoy it. I've tried everything, chewing gum, etc. but my super sensitive ears keep ringing and take forever to un-pop. I'm going to try construction ear plugs and see if that helps this time. I don't leave until Sunday morning.

I'm sure I'll pop in on Thursday to wish all the Americans a Happy Thanksgiving, but in case I don't, please enjoy your time with family and don't burn the rolls or the beast.

I watched FREE BIRDS the other night, it was fun guessing all the voices behind the birds.

I needed to see this MsRose-I don't get to spend time with my husband for Christmas since he works! You're so right-doesn't matter the time or day at all! So glad you got to spend time with her!

We put the tree up over the weekend and although we didn't get snow, we got good news that is nothing short of a Christmas miracle. Late last year, I mentioned that Mr Festive's department would be facing redundancies. It has been a constant worry and stress not knowing what the future held. On Friday, he was offered a secure role in another department with the same company. The manager there wanted him specifically for the position. The news couldn't have come at a better time with everything else that has been going on and I'm praying that everything goes smoothly.

I just wanted to say Thank You to everyone who kept us in their prayers and gave me support and encouragement through out.

Glad to hear Mr Festive has was able to stay with his company.
 
Rare thing happened...I fell asleep around 6PM for an hour. I went to lie down and rest but I fell asleep. I almost never ever fall asleep during the day time. I think that I didn't sleep enough last night though and the extra work time/load these few days this week probably got to me a bit.
