I have been doing some shopping. Mr Festive's birthday is on the 07th so I have that in addition to christmas to think about!

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
I can't believe I forgot to tell you guys - my friends daughter will be in the Macy's parade this year. If you happen to be watching, keep your eyes peeled for "Boyd Dance Studios":
A BIG Congratulations to members of our
Performing Arts Company. They were selected to be apart of the dance company performing on NBC in the 89th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City!

My friend & 2 of her daughters are in NYC now & look who they ran into...(my friends daughter is the one closest to Brad)

I can't imagine how excited they are!!

OH MY GOODNESS I AM SO JEALOUS!!!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!!! So happy for them and for you! Will keep my eyes out for them!!

Here I go again, "post and run". Sorry, got to go in a few!

I can say one thing that I didn't think would happen but I am ahead of schedule!!! Since I am hosting Thanksgiving I am usually running crazy up until that day getting everything ready. I managed to get a whole lot done yesterday so today I can chill a bit today, that way I can be ready for a lot of cooking tomorrow. My mom and I might go take a walk at the Arboretum today and grab some lunch. I am very excited that my oldest grandson will be joining me tomorrow to help bake and cook! We will have the Christmas music blaring so we can sing along and maybe dance around a bit - Lol! That's a must! Maybe when I get home I can actually read over the forums a bit and catch up with you all!

Sounds absolutely lovely CAH! Hope you are able to slow down enough to cherish these sweet moments with friends and family! Wonderful Thanksgiving to you and yours!

When I started for work this morning, I saw the most beautiful frost pattern on my windshield. It would have made a beautiful carpet, or wallpaper, or a tapestry! I thought, what a shame I have to obliterate it to get to work on time ... doggone workaday world. Then later I realized: If it wasn't for the doggone workaday world, I wouldn't have seen that beautiful frost pattern at all! I would have been doing things inside the house. Sometimes it seems like things happen for a purpose!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! We are off to a chilly start but we are going to get up into the 50's today. So not to bad. I'm going to be spending my day boiling eggs, chopping celery and onion, peeling and cutting up carrots, making cranberry sauce, toasting some bread for the stuffing, and what ever else I find to get ready. I'm thinking of making cupcakes up too for my niece's to make into turkeys on Thanksgiving morning. They love doing stuff like that. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, everyone!

Well, we finally received what much of the rest of Ontario has been getting over the past week or so. Yep. Snow has arrived in Ottawa. We had about two inches fall overnight. Just enough to cover the ground and force me to brush off the car. November 24th seems about the right day for this to happen. No complaints here.

Yesterday was a little busy with a quick gym visit, groceries, and sports. Everything was going swell until I collided with a friend in in mid-air and landed kind of funny on my ankle. Hopefully it heals throughout the day. I have dodgeball and hockey tonight. I don't want to miss either.

How about that countdown? In one month from today, we will have our final wake up before Christmas morning. The forum will be jumping and everyone in the world will be smiling, knowing that there is only one more sleep until Christmas!

I hope everyone started off their week on the right foot. If you're in the U.S., how could you not? You are only two days away from Thanksgiving! Have a great Tuesday, everyone! Merry Christmas!

Good Morning MMC...Not up too much today just working and I am going to hit the gym this afternoon for a quick workout. I went to the grocery store last night and got my 24lb turkey! I passed 3 houses and they already had their Christmas lights on. They looked so pretty!

I forgot to tell you guys that I made my cornucopia for Thanksgiving on Friday night. I will stuff it with small squares of different kinds of cheese, grapes, & bite size pieces of jalapeno beef stick.
