Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had the best time decorating yesterday! We bought a Douglas Fir this time, instead of the Fraser Fir that we always get. I have to say, I like it! The kids helped decorate (even 18 year-old Jacob LOL), I re-wired some old decorations that no longer worked, we bought some cinnamon-scented pine cones...what a great day! I have some icicle lights to hang today, then we'll give the house a good cleaning, and we'll be ready for Christmas!

Nancy and Mama went shopping Thursday evening, and just as I'd predicted, all the good deals were gone in a flash. they still managed to stay out till 1AM, though. LOL

We're getting ready for church. I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Merry Sunday, Brad~
I bet your tree looks beautiful!
Have a blessed day with your family!

Good morning!
Happy Sunday!
Everyone is still sleeping here, I'm having my coffee and enjoying the quiet house. So glad no one had an early shift today!
Not too much going on here, my parents are coming over to visit this afternoon. Other than that I will continue to chip away at the decorating. I'm almost finished with the pencil trees in the dining room. I need to pick up a couple of more boxes of ornaments, they look a bit sparse. Two of my Shiny Brite ornaments broke last night. Cats and glass ornaments do not go well together. This will be Rosie's first Christmas with us, she was super excited when we were decorating last night. So cute. I also have two trees going up in my living room so I will be working on that today as well. It will get done, slowly but surely.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 17 **

Good Morning, Friends of the Season.
(And we have marched well into it, haven't we?)

However, we but turn another page:
Days to Christmas Day: 26
(Not much time left now, Folks!)

Still the very-nice-for-November weather continues with highs close to 70, lots of sun and gentle breezes.
(Not exactly Christmas-seasonal but I can live with it!)
We have started out this second half of the Thanksgiving Weekend at 52 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Super Sunday, Everybody!

Thanks Crown!
Have a wonderful day!

I'm glad Jacob helped you. I remember when I was his age, and a little older I sorta drifted away from family/Christmas etc...but I hope for you he doesn't completely do that. And even if he does I know a few years down the line he'll wind up coming back to family #1. It happened to me big-time.

Have fun decorating, I'm sure your house looks gorgeous!
Enjoy the visit with your parents~

Good Sunday Morning MMC! I slept late today wow. Well late for me is 7:45 lol. But I went to bed around 10:30 so yeah...that's over 9 hours of sleep. That's rare for me but I guess my body is catching up from the running around this holiday week. I hope it helps me when I get up for work on Monday. Speaking of that, I was trying to decide if I'm dreading going back to work after all this awesome holiday time off...or am I so excited about the next time I'm off (i.e. Dec. 23 when I leave work) for Christmas vacation that I am gonna enjoy being at work these next few hectic weeks so much and not rush it.
Anyway, I'm having french toast right now that I made and it tastes real good. Who says I can't cook (ok besides me)...have a great last day of Thanksgiving week guys!
