Good evening all

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers over the weekend while I had surgery.

Still a little sore and tender but I've slept more in the last two days than I have in four years so it looks like it's worked.

I'm telling you all these Christmas Day plans that I'm hearing are making me even more excited. They all sound fun, good food, festive and relaxing. Love that combination.

Yeah not working on the day after Christmas is a major plus. I have never worked that day and don't plan to ever.

That's awesome!! I haven't worked it for a long time either & my plan is to keep it that way!

I probably only have lasagna maybe 5 times a year. ALWAYS on Christmas Day and Easter. The other few times scattered for no special reason during the year.

I know - we probably only have it once or twice a year...not sure why!?

Nope, it's just all we could afford when we moved to Vegas, and money was tight
Kind of a homage to the good old days, while we count our blessings!

Awe - well that's a cool tradition! You have me thinking maybe I should make a breakfast pizza for Christmas morning! I haven't made one of those for a really long time either (years!) I haven't made Christmas morning rolls for years either. Hmmmm

Well I'm getting really excited now! I have another dozen + bulbs to put on this tree & a little tweaking to do, but I need to find my hooks 1st. I'll come across them eventually!

I'm having a Stella Artois & listening to the free Stella (Jazzy) Christmas music they had free for downloading a few years ago. "Under The Holiday Stars" Love it! Soon it will be time for Rudolph....and then The Grinch!

Well thank you! Not totally happy with it yet, but I'm excited that it's this close to being done....and now for the big tree! I think I'll wait to see what Gracie does with the sunroom tree ornaments 1st.

It is....you're helping me make my Christmas morning plans...which will still be subject to change. Ha ha! Some years we have my parents (will just be Mom this year) & my brother/sil & my inlaws over for breakfast - but that is always pending if my sister has brunch for all of them...which pends on her girls work schedules in Ft. Wayne.

Oh geez! I just got a call from my neighbor, They are at their house planning the neighborhood house hopping & she's asking if we can be one of the host houses. They are trying to re-schedule things. Well, it's really our next door neighbors turn, but their basement is torn up (can't blame them a bit for not wanting to host this year!) BUT then she called me back & said they are looking at probably having it December 11th- NEXT Friday!! EEK!!! Jim is going to stop over there on his way home from work tonight to help w'/ the scheduling...(I don't want to share my sore throat germs!) But HOLY HANNAH that puts the pressure on to finish decorating, cleaning, & then not to mention the food!!! I told her we would have to be a later house that night b/c Jim isn't done working early during the holiday season! It will be 17-18 families hopping to each house. I need to get organized...FAST!
