So funny - when I woke up this morning it took me a few minutes to figure out if it was Tues or Wed....this week must be flying by!
Have a great day Festive!

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Here we go the first hump day of December. I'm looking forward to the pines tonight. Busy is the key word at work these days. I think that's how it normally is though. It's a little busier this time of year for me at least until mid-December. Then the last week or so before Christmas it slows down. I'm looking forward to coming home and what else? Watching Christmas shows. Trying to watch them consistently but there's so many I think from on now I need to start watching them around the 4th of July onward ;).
I hope you guys all have a great day and will see you at the pines later!
I agree!! And I want to see them ALL! :) And I started watching before you did! LOL Have a wonderful busy day!

** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 20 **

Good Morning, Christmas Friends and Cyber-Neighbors!

Hard to believe, isn't it? We are nearing THREE WEEKS into Christmas Season 2015.
But still, the count goes on:
Days to Christmas Day: 23
(Closing in on the 3 week mark, now!)

Chilly yesterday but at least we had no rain.
Got most of the raking done and the leaf piles to the curb for city pick-up.
Today is supposed to be fairly warm before cooler weather again returns.
Right now, we show 55 degrees on our back door thermometer and a light drizzle is falling.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday Everyone, and I hope to see you at the 'Pines this evening.
[As you know, for the balance of the Season, it will be "High Christmas" at our favorite Inn. Don't miss the beautiful decorations as we build to Carl's special Christmas open house on the 23rd, the last one before Christmas Day!]
Thanks Crown. The Pines is the best in December (like everything else this time of year)!

Every year I find new ones and then there's the classics I have to try to watch multiple times so...I may have to watch them starting earlier or...get a job where I sit at home all day watching Christmas shows. Hmm that sounds like an interesting idea...know anyone hiring?

Good evening all

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers over the weekend while I had surgery.

Still a little sore and tender but I've slept more in the last two days than I have in four years so it looks like it's worked.

Hope you are all well??

I didn't know you had surgery. Praying for your quick healing and glad to hear it worked.

Well I'm getting really excited now! I have another dozen + bulbs to put on this tree & a little tweaking to do, but I need to find my hooks 1st. I'll come across them eventually! :)

Sun room tree...

Now we'll see if little miss wild girl will let it alone this year?!?!!

I'm having a Stella Artois & listening to the free Stella (Jazzy) Christmas music they had free for downloading a few years ago. "Under The Holiday Stars" Love it! Soon it will be time for Rudolph....and then The Grinch! :)

Lovely!

I probably only have lasagna maybe 5 times a year. ALWAYS on Christmas Day and Easter. The other few times scattered for no special reason during the year.

We have lasagna quite often...I made it last week and probably will make it again next week. I don't make it in Summer as it's too hot but it is always included in Christmas lunch (we have soup before and roasted meat after so basically we (or I should say I as my husband eats everything) just taste the lasagna and leave it for the next day)

Looking forward to "High Christmas" at the pines!!!
Have a good day Crown!

I am now done at work. Headed home a little early. Honestly, I can't wait for Christmas break to start. Only two more weeks and a few days until it is there.
:ringy
Nice to be heading home a little early! Enjoy your evening!!

Oh geez! I just got a call from my neighbor, They are at their house planning the neighborhood house hopping & she's asking if we can be one of the host houses. They are trying to re-schedule things. Well, it's really our next door neighbors turn, but their basement is torn up (can't blame them a bit for not wanting to host this year!) BUT then she called me back & said they are looking at probably having it December 11th- NEXT Friday!! EEK!!! Jim is going to stop over there on his way home from work tonight to help w'/ the scheduling...(I don't want to share my sore throat germs!) But HOLY HANNAH that puts the pressure on to finish decorating, cleaning, & then not to mention the food!!! I told her we would have to be a later house that night b/c Jim isn't done working early during the holiday season! It will be 17-18 families hopping to each house. I need to get organized...FAST! :eek:o_O:confused:

That's quite a lot of people! Best of luck with your preparations. I always make a lot of lists of what needs to be done and what i need etc when I have something similar..i find it helps.

Good morning MMC! Happy 2nd of December Pines Day! We have thick fog this morning & it's very frosty! Almost looks like it snowed! All the schools are delayed or cancelled. It's beautiful from the inside looking out! ;) (if only I could have stayed home in my jammies drinking coffee with the tree lights on, watching Hallmark.....and still getting paid) HA!

Have a Merry Pines Day!

Isn't that the truth!
Good Morning & Happy Pines Day, Holiday!
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Thanks so much for all the prayers for my SIL...I appreciate it very much. Hope everyone is having a nice night. I am watching Rudolph and finally relaxing. I had to work late...See you all tomorrow! View attachment 16837

Praying for your sil. My father in law is also battling cancer at the moment so I can understand what a difficult time it is for you and your family. ((hugs))

Thanks Coen! I was just thinking this morning what kind of food I'm going to make! Thinking about this for sure...

This is so good, but if you are going to a party that it will be sitting out all day the cheesy goodness in the middle gets cold...so this would be perfect for our house hopping - pull it out of the oven & eat it up! ;) And now, what else?? Hmmmm...
Have a great day!
Looks divine!
