** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 23 **

Good Morning, Folks.

Well, here we are at the third-to-the-last weekend before Christmas.
(Just how on earth did this year get away from us so fast??)

Days to Christmas Day: 20
Down to UNDER three weeks, and just a day away from the 'teens.
WOW!

Clear, dry and sunny was our experience yesterday. The only thing to mar it was the chilly temps. (But to tell you the truth, it really wasn't bad for early December.)
We have again started out cold at 34 degrees here, but we should reach the 50's by this afternoon.
A good day to make our annual pilgramage to "Logan's Trading Post" to get our Christmas tree, poinsettia, and to have lunch at the Seaboard Cafe, a Christmas holiday tradition for us!

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everybody!
Thanks Crown! Enjoy your tree adventure tradition!

Thanks! One is a Rudolph one (with all the songs from it) and one is a classical one. I covered the kid songs and the classics I think with those 2.
They sound awesome!!

Good evening, everyone! We are getting ready for dinner over here. I hope everyone has had a great Saturday :D

Got a few more things this morning at the mall for Christmas. Going to get some food for Christmas Eve dinner this afternoon. Gotta do a little at a time or else it becomes too much work the last few days before the big one. Feels surreal that it's really as close as it is now.

I heard that you can purchase Terry's Chocolate Oranges from Walmart, but I don't know if they're available anywhere near you. Maybe it's just the on-line store that sells them.
Thank you for the tip! Unfortunately, a search on Walmart's online store isn't showing them at all ... and there are none in the local stores. CVS has Ferrara chocolate oranges, but Terry's is better! I can get Lindt's "Intense Orange" dark chocolate bars, but they don't have milk chocolate and they're available year-round, so they don't count as a Christmas treat. I wonder why the Terry's chocolate oranges have disappeared from our shelves?

We won't be doing it this year, the kids are not ready to go to NYC yet, they wander away from us in the grocery store when we turn around for a few seconds. We just don't feel comfortable enough in the city, maybe next year.
NYC at Christmastime is still one of my biggest Christmas dreams.

Mine too! Fiance has family in New Jersey. Hoping to visit sometime then be able to visit NYC

wow, this day has flown by !
Here it is almost time to get ready for our company Christmas party.
Hope you have all had a great day, no time to read posts right now. Will catch up ha,ha, tomorrow !
Enjoy your Christmas party, CS!
