** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 24 **

Good Morning, Everyone!
Entering the second half of our third-from-the-last weekend before Christmas.

And today's count is brought to you by MMC in living color (red and green, of course) without commerical interruption:
Days to Christmas Day: 19
My, My. Down to the 'teens. Just think about that now!

Well, we started out cold yesterday but it quickly warmed into the 50's and we had a good early December outing to Logans. A nice frazier fir Christmas tree was found at a good price and we will be completely decorated and set for Christmas once we trim it today!
This morning has commenced at 33 degrees here in our little province of the MMC nation.

Have a Super Sunday, Friends.
And here's hoping the Panthers can go 11-0!!
Thank you Crown!

Good morning!
Happy Sunday!
I have a little bit more decorating to do today. One of our neighbors decided to scale back on their decorating this year. They don't want to put a big tree up anymore so they offered it to us, it's a beautiful pre-lit tree. They asked a few people before they offered it to us and everyone turned them down. So weird. Who wouldn't want another Christmas tree?! :p
I hope everyone is well!
Wishing you all a Christmassy Day!

How awesome is that?!
Can't wait to see photos!!
Hope you have a festive day!

Good morning, friends! Long time, no see! How are you all doing? I hope you're all enjoying the Christmas season so far!

I'm getting more in to it now, as we are decorated here and I haven't been as busy. I've had more time to enjoy it with DH and the kids. I still haven't had much time to sit down and watch Christmas movies or TV, but hopefully I will soon.

I have something new to share with you all though - it's been something DH and I had been talking about for quite a while and it came as a surprise just a week or two ago, that she was able to come home with us so soon - we have a new puppy! Nittany came home to us yesterday! Our breeder had two puppies from the last litter, so we jumped at the chance. The kids, us, and Ella our in love already. I'm so pleased how well Ella is doing with her.

Hope you all are well and have a great day and keep enjoying the season! Here is a picture!

What a cutie! Of course puppy pics are always welcome as far as I'm concerned. ;)

She is beautiful! Congrats!

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

Well, it took three days at 12 hours per day, but we finally got my truck back on the road! My transmission wouldn't go in reverse (but it would go forward) when I tried to go to work last Thursday morning, so I took it to Jim's shop. It took all day to get the transmission out of the truck, but by 10pm we had found the problem and replaced the broken part.

The next day we had the trans back in by 2pm, and reverse worked great, but then the forward didn't. Ahh! We took the trans back out yesterday morning (by this time, we could do it quicker), found & fixed the problem, put it back in, and it runs like a champ!!

I have spent a lot of time thanking the Lord for guiding Jim's hand in this. What would have normally cost me $1500 in a transmission shop, cost me $100 in parts. Thank you LORD, and thank you Jim!!

My day is brighter, and we're doing some Christmas shopping this afternoon.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
:snowball
It sounds like quite the adventure ;-)
Bless the lord & Jim!
That is great that it's working like a champ now, friend.
Hope that you and yours have a blessed Sunday! :)

Enjoy your beautiful tree!
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Good Morning MMC !!

very foggy this morning,
Company Christmas party was ok, just tired of folks who drink too much. I left around 9:30, just got tired of it. Never understood why folks think drinking until you act like a fool and cannot remember what you did is fun,
On the plus side, I did win a $25 gift card !

Hope you all have a fantastically magically festive Sunday,
Congrats!!
It sounds like you left just in time.
Hope that you have a very Merry Sunday, CS!!

We don't have a social after our cocktails, dinner and service recognition awards anymore due to that very fact. Last year, came close to a browl in one corner of the large room and a senior staff was staggering out the door. Some people chose to go out after, but it takes the liability away from our employer. There are lots of door prizes and random draws for baskets; I usually walk away with at least one prize. This year I'm being recongized for 25 years of service.
Congratulations, AMD!!

Good Sunday Morning MMC! Each day I feel more and more happy/excited about Christmas. I don't know if you guys are feeling the same way but it's just such an amazing feeling inside. I just am trying to cherish it and not rush it. It's just a great feeling you get this time of year that you just don't quite get the rest of the year. I'm going back to the mall today to get a few more things for Christmas. I keep telling myself I bought way more than enough but I still have to get my dog a few more gifts and my mom. Other than that it's mostly about waiting for the stuff I ordered online to arrive. Most of it has but a few more things should be coming this week coming up. Then I will begin wrapping next weekend. I have my Christmas party at work Thursday evening. They hold it at a nice restaurant and it's really a lot of fun.
I hope you all have a great Sunday and let that Christmas feeling really hit you today.
Hope you have a jolly day! ;)

I don't think I've ever had one, but my aunt used to enjoy them, but that was when I was a pre-teen. I remember the package and what it looks like, I'll keep my eyes open and send you one if I come across any.
Thank you for your kind offer, but you don't need to bother to send one, Auntie---Meceka mentioned yesterday that she finds them at Rite Aid, and Mr. found some there and bought me two milk chocolate ones and two dark chocolate ones! So I'm all set! I'll holler a warning before I whack one on the counter to separate the segments! :D

I'm glad you were saved the four-figure expense. And that you can go both forward and backward again!

Amen to that!
Glad you won the gift card before you left!

Advertising people like to unwind with alcohol, but I don't (at least, not to the same extent, so I usually skip company gatherings where there's alcohol). Our agency will expense cab or limo rides to and from the company party to allow employees to unwind to their hearts' content, which is a practical gesture as well as a kind one.

We're sprucing up the house for a visiting friend. We'll all go out for lunch, then come back here to visit and exchange gifts. It'll be a dual celebration, because Hanukkah begins this evening, so we can celebrate both holidays!
