Enjoy the party! Did I hear something about bonus checks?!? We're planning for next Tuesday, but I'm not holding breath waiting on a check LOL!

Yeah they give us a nice bonus check every year at the Christmas party. It's funny though some people are so spoiled about it they call asking how much their bonus is like they expect it. Personally I appreciate every year they give it to us because they don't have to.

Happy Friday Eve Friends!! I cannot believe Christmas Eve is 2 weeks away. I need to get wrapping! Nothing too exciting just working. The weather has been so warm here...we may get up to 65 on Sunday. Crazy! I do like it a bit colder for Christmas.

Early word I heard is that Christmas week will be cooler but nothing that cold where we'd get any snow unfortunately. But who knows. Not like they can tell 100% from now till 2 weeks from now. As long as it's not like last year rainy Christmas Eve and 60 degrees Christmas morning I'll be happy.

Still the nice weather persists and it's only going to get better, at least through Sunday, before cooler temps return.
No rain on the horizon, either.
Right now, we show 48 degrees on our back door thermometer.

The Crowns are off to visit my niece in Charlotte Saturday and we will be gone overnight, so a Countdown volunteer will be needed for Sunday morning, only.

Good morning, everyone!

I'm at Russell again. I am in the library all day. It's not a bad gig. I am sure it will get boring in the next hour or so, however.

Are we really 28 days into the Christmas Season? I have read some people talking about their local temperatures and it is much of the same in Ottawa. Today, we are forecasted to hit 10c/50f, which would be a record for December 10th. Tomorrow, we're looking at 11c/52f. Another record, I am sure.

I am not too sure of my plans for this evening. Kim wants to pickup a few gifts for my mom. We'll be doing the same tomorrow, but for other family members. The best part about this is that we finally have a chance to check out two different malls. I can't wait to finally take some more photographs and share them in the Blossoms thread. Actually, now that I have a bit of time, I think I can probably post some from Alight at Night, too.

Well, I think I should get "back to work." Have a great Thursday, everyone! The second last shopping weekend before Christmas is nearly here. Wow. That sound strange. Merry Christmas!!

Well, nothing bad has happened in the past hour, so things ARE improving.
I put on some Christmas music---that makes a difference.

Gosh, but the day has gotten off to a bad start, between waking up during a bad dream, battling a difficult computer update that made me late for work, and a headache. Things can start improving now! I do have Friday and Monday off so I can make cookies and wrap gifts (and grab some sofa / Christmas movie / crochet / cocoa time, if possible).

That's a tough morning. Maybe a four-day weekend will help assuage the rash of a bad day!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had a quiet evening yesterday, probably the last of the month LOL. I fixed my garland on the front door, but aside from that, nothing more than sitting on the couch watching The Polar Express.

I plan to work on the Camaro tonight. I got a package with some needed parts, so off we go!

Starting in 2016 Thanksgiving will be coming earlier, the 24th, then the 23rd and 22nd the next 3 years so it will give us a little more time between Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Today is my annual Christmas party after work. We are heading to the same place we have the last 3 years that I've been here. They will have lots of food and meeting people who you talk to all the time but never see (some of them work on the fields and such and in different locations than me). It's always fun. I'll be leaving here around 3PM to go there and will probably be home by around 8. A long day but a fun one.
I hope you all have a great Thursday as we head towards another weekend...only 2 left before Christmas???
