Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Saturday Morning MMC! It's very mild and I barely wore a light jacket out this morning to get my coffee and donut. Oh yeah it does not feel like Christmas but the weather man last night said next weekend we may go back to around normal which would be high 30s/low 40s for high temps. I could take a little Christmas chill the weekend before Christmas. Unfortunately the signs are that after that it should "warm up" for Christmas...not quite as warm as last year but still above average. Eh what can ya do? I really would love to experience a Christmas snowstorm like I did 13 years ago. It's hard to time it out and everything but there's always next year to try that.
Anyway, I have a lot of stuff to do today on this Saturday. I hope you all have an awesome weekend and really enjoy this Christmas feel we have going!

Good evening,

A very long day today, it is such a strange December. It is sooooo slow at work, two weeks before Christmas and it has been a ghost town. The weather is too warm, between the nice weather and shopping online, it is really putting a damper on sales.
Today was ugly sweater day, I ended up disappointed in mine. I got the dreaded "it's such a cute sweater, it's not ugly" from way too many people. I don't want cute, I want ugly, back to the drawing board next year. This was what I wore today:

I am heading to bed, one more day until my day off.
9 more working days until vacation.

** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 30 **



Good Morning, Folks.
Just think. When today ends, we will have completed a full month of Christmas Season 2015.
It also means that the countdown to Christmas Season 2016 has been silently running since November 13.
We have already counted down 30 days from 366!!

Days to Christmas Day: 13
Look at that. We are now UNDER two weeks to go!


Still the nice weather persists and will do so for the weekend, with highs in the low 70's and no precipitation.
Come Monday, however, clouds and the rain are set to return along with slowly dropping temps.
We stand just over 58 degrees here at this hour.


Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone!
See you here Monday morning, as I leave you in the very capable hands of Edge 612 who will handle count duties tomorrow while we visit my niece in Charlotte, in the heart of Panther country. (In fact, she lives just 5 blocks from the Panther's stadium.)

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

Elizabeth has dance class this morning, and Jacob has a gig at noon, so we're on the road soon. But right now, I'm on the couch next to the Christmas tree, cup of coffee on one side of me, and Lulu on the other side. She loves to sleep on her back. LOL What a silly girl!

its party day here so most of it will be spent cooking, picking up the girls, baking, picking up ingredients we forgot to buy, picking up mom and then finally leaving for the party. Should be around 50 family members at this one.
Right now I am enjoy the peace of the morning, listening to Christmas music, enjoying the lights on our big tree and wondering where Penny put several of the decorations from the Christmas tree int h kitchen.
In case I do not get back here again today, have a great one everyone !!!
Just think, 2 weeks from now it will all be over and we will be relaxing in the glow of the day after.

Happy Saturday!
I can't believe we're less than two weeks away now, I'm so excited! My husband and the girls all have to work today so I think I'm going to wrap some gifts and work on Christmas cards. My husband said he doesn't want to set the village up until we get the train set. Makes sense since it's going in to the display. The train is supposed to be here by Monday so give me a few more days, I promise I'll post pictures after it's set up. Oh and I bought the cutest Christmas dress for Maggie, can't wait until you see her in it!

Good morning everyone. My 3 year old nephew spent the night with us last night. Wow! It's been a while since we've had a little one that young so I'm out of practice. Poor little guy started not feeling well in the night and was up quite a bit.
He's kept us laughing, that's for sure! He can say some crazy stuff.
