Okay, I'm viewing this thread for the first time on a computer and some pics are sideways for me too! Weird. On my phone they are right side up. Hmmmm.

A visit to Macy's.
In both 2014 and 2015, Macy's was a huge disappointment. In the former year, I asked a clerk where their Christmas section was and she said the store manager had decided not to put in a section because "it was a waste of space"(!). They had skimpy store decorations as well.
Things were not much better in 2015.
Finally, for this year, the Christmas spirit seems to be returning to the store that started the Macy's Parade.

1) Decorations put customers in the frame of mind that yes, Macy's does still love the season!

2) A close-up.

3) This rack of Festive Fellows beckons visitors' eyes.

4) Meanwhile, back in the main mall hallway:
Look! "A Christmas To Remember" is open!!

5) Santa's Village awaits the big guy's arrival later this month.

6) And Carabtree's main outdoor tree welcomes all travelers, eager for the holiday experience.

Last night I finally made it to the Christmas shop at our local hardware store. I walked in the back door & the scene was breath taking!!
