.....I don't doubt that if a psychologist knew just how passionate I am for Christmas that I would be diagnosed with some kind of label for it. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with being this way and totally embrace it. I'm just saying, if I really unfiltered expressed my love for Christmas and the extent to which I go all out for it, to include not wanting to let it go when it's over, I think the majority of people would see it a bit odd, and maybe even think something's wrong with me.

But that's why I'm here at MMC so I can do that and people won't look at me weird.....
That's why we are here year round. We are a support group for Christmasoholics, which includes all of us.
But unlike most such support groups, we don't try to alleviate the addiction, we feed it -- happily!
(Perhaps Christmas is the only really GOOD addiction out there!)

Good Morning, Friends of the Season and all the joy it brings.

And our Milestone chart also brings joyous news!
(More in a moment.)

Reviewing today's figures:
Days to the Season: 303
Days to Christmas Day: 345

Say, now. Who needs the Milestone chart for this marker? It's plain as the beard on Santa's face. And the first number proves it.
Yes. It's true. We are only THREE days away from 2017 Milestone number 1, the 300-day Season Window.
(So soon. So incredibly soon!)

What may be even more incredible than the count numbers is our weather yesterday. Calm, sunny, dry and 70 degrees. Yes! SEVENTY for Friday, January 13. (And who says that's unlucky? Certainly not us here in North Carolina right afer all that sleet and single digit temperatures last Sunday!)
Now, today is a different story entirely. We are starting off at 46 degrees and may not get much warmer all day. At least it remains dry and should start warmimg up again tomorrow.

Anyway.
You -- each and every one of you out there in all parts of the great MMC Nation -- have a Sensational Saturday and a truly Wondrous Weekend!

Good morning everyone!

I have been posted in a couple of days, it is the end of the semester so I have been catching up on grading and writing and all that stuff.
We have some freezing rain here today. So I will not be going out today. My plan is to finish grading some projects, put grades in the gradebook, watch some football and play video games.

Everyone have a great day!

Thanks Crown! Have a great weekend in preparation for our 1st milestone!

Well, back to work for my second full work week. Since I have the house to myself for a little while longer I'm thinking I'll keep my Christmas stuff going through my days off next week. It was calming yesterday, just spending the entire day doing Christmassy things and reminiscing about what it was like during the season. I'd like to do that again.

Hello everyone. I have not been around nearly as much as I'd like to be. This year has started off busy!
I hope everyone is doing well. We were supposed to get a major ice storm in these parts but so far it hasn't been much. They did cancel work and school yesterday for everyone in my house. With MLK Day on Monday, it's a four day weekend for us.
I hope you all have a great Saturday.

Good one Crown!! Like I always say..."There is alot more things in this world you can be addicted to other than Christmas"

Wont be long Noodle and you will be having to switch out last years Christmas stuff for this years rotation.

So glad to hear this good news Crown! Thanks!!

Happy Saturday! Hope you're enjoying it!

We've finished our running-around have-to-do's for the day and are getting ready to reheat some leftover pizza and chicken nuggets and relax for the evening. It's cold out there today, and it feels so-o-o nice to be in cozy sweats in a warm home.

Morning! Cold morning here but won't last long as next week temps will be above normal all week long. We may get a coating to an inch of snow. I'm going to the mall and having pizza for lunch. I pre-ordered the Nintendo Switch yesterday which is the newest Nintendo system coming out in March. I've gotten every one of Nintendo's system since I was a kid in the 80s. They were selling out fast online. Their biggest game which is Mario looks amazing and they advertised it for coming out "Holidays 2017." Ahh the first person outside MMC to mention Christmas season 2017.
Have a great Saturday!
The new Mario game looks amazing! But I'm 3D-challenged when it comes to videogames so it looks really hard too. Super Mario 64 drove me insane, can't play shooter games, etc because I have trouble moving in a "3D" universe. I still want to get the Nintendo Classic Mini, if they ever re-stock. 2D is for me. Let us know how you like the Switch once you get it.

I will let you know. I'm glad I pre-ordered it. Can't believe they always go out of stock so fast. The mini classic I would think would start to become more available now with everyone distracted by the switch.
