best sleep I have had in a long time, I feel really good for a change.
Got supper ready and in the slow cooker ( layered pasta sauce loaded with vegies and meatballs in a seasoned tomato sauce)
Off to work in a half hour.

Merry Friday!
Just had Maggie in the back yard, it's chilly out there. It's going to be partly sunny with highs near 34, we're currently at 25 degrees. I'm going to wait a bit before we head out for a walk. Hopefully the sun will be shining!
Seems like a few of us have been dealing with a lot of things lately. I know it's been one thing after another for my family so far in 2017. I would appreciate if you could send up a prayer for me, I'm going for a thyroid biopsy this afternoon. I'm sure everything will be alright but waiting for those results can be nerve wracking! I'm keeping positive thoughts, hoping all the sickness and other health issues will be behind us.
Please know all of you are always in my thoughts and prayers <3

Good Morning Edge. My time off will also go through Monday and I will be doing the same and that is getting everything done that needs to be done before the 5th. Most of which is simply to finish cleaning the house and buy a couple of things for Sunday (there is a sale on wings and meatballs at HyVee).

I want to share a post by LittleCS (with her permission) from her face book page. Please pray for her and me too as we wait for the results to come in...

For those of you who read my update about my specialist appointment in London on Monday...and I said about being tested for essential Thrombocytosis and you don't know what that is...I looked it up and here is what it is:
Essential thrombocytosis (ET; also known as essential thrombocythemia, essential thrombocythaemia, primary thrombocytosis) is a rare chronic blood disorder characterised by the overproduction of platelets by megakaryocytes in the bone marrow.[1] It may, albeit rarely, develop into acute myeloid leukaemia or myelofibrosis.[1] It is one of four myeloproliferative disorders (disorders characterised by increased production of a particular line of blood cell).
Scarry stuff huh? but I'm trusting God with it and know that He is in charge and will always be with me, even right now when I am kind of worried after reading that I may end up having myeloid leukaemia (I hope that doesn't happen, though)
I'm putting all this in God's hands and praying that it isn't going to be that bad.
It hardly ever is bad.
The doctor said that they want to eliminate this from the possibilities of what might be the problem.
The past few years it seems like it has been one rough thing after another but I keep smiling and day after day, I Keep on Fighting!!
I will update you when I hear more about what is going on. Also, thank you for those of you who are praying for me!

Carolina seems to be getting sick. She was acting fine but her cheeks were very red and flushed. My mom tried to take her temperature after she picked her up from my cousin, but a fit ensued so it didn't get taken til almost bed time. I'm hoping it is down by morning. If not a trip to the pediatrician or urgent care will be in our future.

I hope everyone is having a great relaxing night. Keeping everyone in my prayers

Morning and TGIF! Hope everyone is ready for Superbowl Weekend. I am glad that I took off Monday coming up. I always love 3 day weekends. They are the best to me. What's everyone got planned? This week seemed a little quicker than I thought it would. But I'm glad it's Friday. Besides my little Superbowl party Sunday I'm planning on getting my taxes done, errands and of course trying to relax some. I may go to the mall on Monday. The mall always makes me think of the Christmas season no matter what time of year I go there. Hope you all have a great Friday!

I don't usually involve myself in ball games, but since it's the Superbowl, and since one of the teams is from Georgia...

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be cold here today but I won't let that stop me. I'm still trying to catch up from having my niece earlier this week. She is still coughing some but made it through school yesterday. I have several more errands to run today. I'm giving that new car quite the workout and it's handling it like a pro. The only thing that I don't like about it is, the headlights aren't automatic. I mean, its been 19 years since I've had to turn on my own headlights. Talk about feeling like I'm back in the stone age. Lol!!! I hope everyone is having a great day!!!

So happy it's Friday. It's been quite the week (and it isn't quite over yet!). I hope by some miracle the workday goes easily and not too late, but this has been the week of last-minute demands and unexpected revisions. The weekend will be a little busy, but at least it will be a weekend!

TGIF, Christmas friends!

It's overcast this morning, but I don't think it's supposed to rain. In the 70's today, but 50's tomorrow. Back in the 70's again by Monday LOL.

I'm not sure if I'm going to try the auction again tonight. I usually ride with Nancy to take Elizabeth to dance on Friday evening. She and I don't get much time alone, and that give us an hour or so to talk. Strange how you miss talking with your wife. Just kidding!
