Good Morning, MMC!! Its going to be a nice morning and then they ate saying tornadoes possible this afternoon and then snow tomorrow morning. Talk about crazy. Not to much going on today. Just need to put together the entertainment center I got last night. I hope everyone has a great day!!

Good news, Snowflake is unstuck and made it to work.

We are supposed to get storms this evening, worst being from 6pm to 1am. Says they are very scattered so not all areas may have storms. I'm ok with being an area that doesn't get storms! They are also saying possibility of hail & tornadoes here too! With the change in temps like that - so fast - I guess about anything is possible. EEK! We are supposed to have snow tomorrow afternoon. But to walk outside right now....sunshine & 65º already this morning. How can it possibly SNOW tomorrow??!

It's just her today. Bosses are out of town and everyone else on vacation. So no one to cancel it.

Good morning MMC! Happy, Happy Friday!!!! TGIF! It's a beautiful start to the day. Sounds like weather could get a little rough later on, but this morning is gorgeous - high of 72º predicted for today! I have laundry ready to hang on the line at noon - love it!

Anybody have fun plans for the weekend? I don't think we have many plans at all. My hubby is possibly working tomorrow morning. One of my sisters wants this weekend with Mom since her hubby is in Daytona, so I am only staying with mom for a few hours this afternoon, and a few hours Sunday morning. I might have to fire up the smoker tomorrow - it's been awhile since we've used that! BUT it will feel SO cold after 72º today & 35º tomorrow, so we'll see!!

I've babbled enough. Everyone have a great day!

Mom is doing ok. She has a lot of ups & downs. She has been having dizzy spells this week. Her BP has been elevated so they are checking with the heart doc if he wants to increase her meds. That could be causing the dizziness. Or I'm wondering about vertigo too?! But yesterday she was working on a puzzle & her & Emma cleaned off a shelf of books she is getting rid of. When she wants to do things, it's a sign she's feeling better. xx Thanks for asking!

How much snow are you guys supposed to get?

@snowflake22 is correct. They said about 9 realistically and we made it close to that, although with drifts, it was over 15". Spent a good 5 hours just snowblowing at work this morning. Now my shoulders ache from fighting the snowthrower.

No offense bro but keep it there lol. It's spring here.

This sure has been a tough Winter for bugs of all kind. My husband works at a residence for semi-wutonomous retirees and there was an epidemic last week and they were this close to barring any visitors, and even some of the staff were told to stay home.

TGIF, Christmas friends!

We spent the evening yesterday working on Bernie's weekend birthday party. He's the best father-in-law I could have asked for, so I don't mind putting in the work for him. He'll be 80 on Sunday, and we've invited the entire local community. It should be a blast!

Bernie's also going with me to the auction tonight, so that'll be fun.

Lunch today with my mom & my brother.

The last report Snowflake gave me was 15 inches or so.

When I talked to her at 5am they already had 7 inches and were experiencing blizzard conditions.

Then I just heard from her a few minutes ago and she is stuck in her neighborhood on her way to work.

Happy Friday!! TGIF...I have been working so much this week. I am welcoming the break but I may have to log on maybe on Sunday to finish some stuff up. Tonight my husband and I are meeting a few friends at an Irish bar in town. Then tomorrow my daughter has a basketball game. Hope everyone has a great day!
10 months from today is Christmas Eve!!

Hello everyone.
I have not been on in while so I wanted to stop in and hi.
Things have been busy, crazy and yuck!
My wife was sick last week, then I got sick this week. I went to school and tried to teach Wednesday and Thursday with almost no voice at all. But I did not have much of a choice yesterday because I am the Quiz Team coach and we had a tournament yesterday. So, I decided to take today off. I drove the kids to school and came home. And then around 9:30, the school called because Henry had a 101 fever. So, back to school I went to pick him up.

On this past Monday, President's day, my oldest son, Nathan was in a car accident. No one was hurt but the car was totaled. He has court this coming Monday. In Ohio all juveniles who get traffic citations have to appear in court.
Also last weekend, on Saturday, we went to a funeral in Indiana for my wife's aunt. My wife's aunt and her husband(who survived) were in a car crash. The aunt died on the scene and her husband suffered several broken bones in his leg, but nothing life threatening. He did not know his wife had died for several hours.

So, I am ready for February to be done! It has not been the best of months really. But it will all get better.

In happier news, my Quiz Team finished 6-1 and took 2nd place. One of the kids on the team ended up being the highest individual scorer at the tournament. We have one more tournament next Thursday. It is a double elimination tournament with 8 teams.

Well I hope everyone is doing well, and I intend on being on here more often.
