its actually the only flower as it is a small cake. I have 2 others to make this week .

My Christmas treasure hunt at the indoor flea market was a bust, nothing I could afford. Oil change is done, as is folding a lot of laundry from the Florida trip.
Back to work in the morning, I have a week and a half before my hours change to an earlier time.

Morning MMC! Windy outside this morning. Temperatures are cooling off now and it's supposed to be a pretty chilly weekend. We may even see some snow showers on Friday. Winter always tries to hang on in March while spring is trying to push in and take over. Just another busy quick work day today...hope everyone is having a good Thursday!

Windy and cold here today. Rained half the night and most of the time sounded like a hurricane was passing through. We did score some snow from 3 am on.

Days to Christmas Day: 298

And passing a Milestone just means checking ahead for the next one, doesn't it?

Hmmm...... Believe it or not, our next marker is the 1/3 point to the Season and is set to arrive on March 15, less than two weeks from today!
Just let that sink in a bit, now. ONE THIRD of the way to Christmas Season 2017.

Well, we had another quite warm day yesterday, but it was capped off by some heavy evening rain and a brief severe thunderstorm warning. Nothing significant developed where we are, fortunately, and we needed the moisture.
Right now, we have cooled off to 48 degrees here and should be in for a noticeably chillier day than we had yesterday.

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!!! Not much going on here today. I saw a few flurries on my way to work this am. Crazy 'ol weather! That wind yesterday was ridiculous. Lots of areas around us were out of power - I'm sure we were out at the lake, but we were all good at home. Today is much colder, started at 30º with a high of 38 expected. Brrrr!

Anybody have anything fun planned for the weekend?

The movie really wasn't too bad if you don't mind extreme vulgarity. I can't consider it a Christmas movie, since it doesn't have that warm and fuzzy feeling that Christmas movies usually have.

I haven't ever been able to sit through all of the 1st Bad Santa. LOL!!

They issued a high wind warning here, the news gave it a trash can warning of 4. Which means your trash cans will probably be in your neighbors yard down the street. 5 meant they would be lost.
