good evening MMC !

brrrr so chilly. seems most of the worst of this storm is going to miss us.
I cannot get my computer key board fixed as it is sadly just to old. I do however have a key board plugged in for now making posting easier again.

Please keep LittleCS in your thoughts and prayers. Her first test showed nothing so they are now going to have her come in for a bone marrow biopsy. I hope this will show what is going on with her.

have a great evening all and I hope all of you that are in the path of this storm stay safe and warm.
Enjoy this Tuesday Christmasstar. Glad to hear you will miss the main portion of this "Lion-like" March storm. Welcome to the world of old computers my friend. Mine is also old and I even run Vista. Never had a reason to upgrade as this is probably the most I use my computer all day (other than E-Mail and checking the news). I will keep CS in my prayers this AM (and in the days to come).
Here is one I have relied on a lot in my lifetime...

Great picture, that is both of my boys favorite player, Bill O'Brien. We have met him a few times, he is a very nice guy, but one heck of a mean player.
I'm glad to hear that I managed to pick that one out and that he is such a nice guy. I think that is the defining point of a superior athlete. 100% on the field and then leave it right there as you head back into the other portion of your life. Have a safe Tuesday.

Morning MMC! We are in the middle of a blizzard here. We have probably at least 4 inches of snow already and it's snowing hard and should continue through most of the day. We may get some sleet mixing in too. They are calling for 12-24 inches of snow here. Well winter sure hit us here in March after a mild warm February. Time to relax...and then start shoveling lol.

A very good morning to you Martine. Enjoy your errands and the wonders your crafting results in. Are you in the main path as well?

Good morning CGYager! Hope you will enjoy a great day. Fortunately we will not get the worst of the storm, but still they are predicting 15cm and more. When March arrives, I'm really tired of Winter and ready for Spring, so these bitterly cold temperatures followed by all this snow are really annoying.

Christmasstar I will be sending positive thoughts and hoping doctors can find quickly what is ailing LittleCS.

LittleCS is in my thoughts.

Good Morning, Milestone Approachers.
And in point of fact, our next marker is so close you can practically reach out and touch it!

Days to the Season: 244
Days to Christmas Day: 286

And just how close are we? Can we really be so close we can just about reach out and touch the next marker?
Indeed.
It's TOMORROW!
At that point, we will have completed the ENTIRE FIRST THIRD of our Season count and will commence the SECOND third of our journey.
(Wow!)

Cold. Rain. Somber, overcast skies.
That scenario has replaced the warmth, sun, and dry conditions of a couple of days ago. And it's not getting much better. Winter like conditions are here to stay for the balance of this week.
Currently, we are arising to 37 degrees here in the Cold Capital City after an early morning rain.

But, again. Never mind the unpleasant weather. (And folks are really facing a bad situation in the northeast.) You have a Terrific Tuesday, regardless.
And remember. Rain or shine, warmth or cold, wind or calm, the Shispering Pines will be open tomorrow for the usual weekly open house. Carl will be at the door with piping hot fired twinkies and smooth, sweet, southern iced tea for all visitors!

Good morning MMC ~
Happy Tuesday!
The forecast for Long Island completely changed overnight. The 18 inches of snow is down to 3-6 inches since its changing over to sleet and freezing rain. It's pretty nasty out there and it's going to be a slushy mess. Hard to believe Spring begins in less than a week. Everyone in my family ended up getting off from work when the blizzard warning was issued yesterday so at least we'll get to stay in and relax. Although I do have to head out in to the back yard soon to shovel for Maggie again. I hope everyone in the path of the storm stays safe and warm. Wishing all of you a wonderful day!

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

I had to hit the floor running this morning. We have a lot of consultants, general managers and Vice Presidents coming in for a plant visit and meetings starting today, and my office is a mess. Of course, they're here to see me, but just my luck, one of them will come in to see how organized I am...not! Most of them, I think, are using it as an excuse to visit our general manager, who is dealing with ALS.

In the meantime, it's cold! Sweater again for me, baby! Yeah!

I hope y'all have a warm, great day! :D

Morning Edge. Keep yourself safe and warm till the storm passes. Did my shoveling yesterday and the sun dried out the pavement areas. The Lion of March is on the move...

Glad you and Mr will be home safe tomorrow, this storm is sounding nasty.
Sounds like you folks may REALLY get socked out west there. Are you in the area that's expecting up to 2 feet? We're still expecting about a foot. I guess we're in the area where it may change to sleet for a while.

Morning HMG. Sounds like some tough traveling for today. Enjoy the time inside and maybe catch a nice oh... Christmas themed movie. I can relate to shoveling an area for the dogs outside. Too bad we don't have one like this...

Woke up to a few inches of snow this morning and right on schedule the snow fall is picking up. It still wont beat our pre Thanksgiving blizzard...but I'll take it..lol

Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday!! I hope everyone is staying safe & sound through all the snow/ice/rain/wind....COLD!! We didn't get as much snow as predicted but the ground is mostly white & Gracie loves it! She has come in with a nose full of snow, several times since yesterday afternoon. Goofy girl!

Everyone have a great day!! Stay safe 'n warm!!!

Blizzard watch!!! Doesn't Mother Nature know I've moved on to garden season ? Not to mention driving for FedEx is terrible in this weather and they never close...
Stay safe!!!

I went home for lunch, and before I could make a sandwich, my phone calendar reminded me that I had a cardiology appointment...at that moment. I don't know why I didn't set it to remind me the day before. Luckily, my cardiologist comes to my hometown monthly, so it saves me a trip to Savannah. Also, I wasn't too late since it's only 5 or 6 miles away.

I didn't even get to eat lunch. I'm hungry!
Hope your appointment went well...and you didn't starve!!
