Well done Marine. I had a staff meeting at a place that routinely gave out two four one coupons and we each went in and ordered something different (six of us). When all the food arrived, we just had it set in the middle of a large table and dug in...

We used to do that when I was young and just in the Corps.
Of course people dont realize how little we got paid back then. I think I made like 349.00 a month out of boot camp so we had to look for deals..lol

Morning MMC! Happy Last Week of March! Hard to believe when we hit the weekend we'll be turning the page from March to APRIL. Wow. That's some serious fast months going by so far this year. But for today just a regular day at work and then a regular evening at home. That ain't so bad for a Monday. It would be nice to see the sun again because we didn't see much this weekend of it and we won't until Wednesday! Have a great day!

Happy Monday! We have a dreary day going on here too! Rain is predicted for tonight. High of 65, so can't complain too much!

Yum - did you smoke them?

Had them in the smoker for 1 hour then they went to the grill for 2 hours. I usually like a saucey rib,but felt like a dry rub yesterday. I didnt even make a dipping sauce for them. The rib rack is a total mess and may stay underwater for a day or two..lol

This just in...........
We are being approached by two BACK-TO-BACK Milestone markers.
They are 1/3 Christmas Day marker and the 200-Day Season Window.
The former arrives on April 26 and the latter on the following day, April 27.
Two Milestone Days in a row!!
(This only happens once a year, Guys. You don't want to miss it!)


Wonderful spring conditions here.
The only negative -- pollen everywhere. I'm not allergic but hate seeing a greenish-yellow powder coating everything. And it's with us for nearly two months. (Gets to be a drag.)
Currently, we awake to a temperature reading of 61 degrees here. We could be in for some on and off again rain this week.

Good Monday Morning Holiday. Pizza two nights in a row? Must be a little Italian somewhere deep inside...
My weekend starts on Sunday, so even though that one flew by, I'm hoping to accomplish a bit more today.

Actually we had pizza Friday night & Sunday night - so we skipped a night in there. It was my Mom who wanted pizza last night, so we gotta keep mama happy!

Good morning MMC! Merry Monday?! It seems like about 4 hours ago, I was driving home from work on Friday, ready to get the weekend started! Where did it go?!

I hope you all had a great weekend! We didn't do a whole lot - Friday night we stayed home, ordered a veggie pizza. Saturday morning I did some cleaning at home, got some groceries, made a trip to Ben Franklin, went to the lake to do some cleaning. Water is supposed to be turned on TOMORROW!!! Yesterday my sis was staying with mom - she cut my hair (thank God) then we ordered pizza (again) for supper. My bro & sil stopped in. There went the weekend!

The springtime weather has finally arrived, and it's supposed to get to 70 degrees today, with some lovely thunderstorms. I hope so....I love a good thunderstorm!

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

It was another busy, busy weekend for us, chasing Elizabeth around with her Prom dress needs, and her competition dancing. Her group did great Sunday, earning Platinum scores...she was so proud, and so were we!

It's another busy day at work, too. I hope y'all have a great day!

If you have a roasting pan or a big pot big enough to fit the rack in or at least half of the rack cause you can always rotate the rack. Fill the pot/pan with water and boil it with the rack inside, makes the cleaning the rack mush easier.

Oh well I still have a few more cookie recipes to test out between now and fall You can tell Spring is definitely inching in more and more each week. Washed and packed up the flannel sheets and kids heavy comforters over the weekend until Nov/Dec. Our heavy comforter is to big for our washer and dryer so next weekend I will take it to the local laundry mat to wash.

Greetings Crown and enjoy your week. We don't get that pollen dusting up here, but we make up for it with all the misty type sap that falls from the trees all summer long and makes for frequent washing of the cars.
