I missed The Christmas Card too. I was aware it was on, but we weren't home. I think my hubby made sure we stayed out until after it was over. Ha ha ha!

Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day and hope you all have a great one before Easter approaching fast. Yesterday was one of those days at work where you are going along nicely accomplishing things and then suddenly someone interrupts you and you wind up having to do a bunch of different things that were not what you were planning to (aka I got nothing done). Today looks like there's a chance of showers. It was so warm yesterday it felt like June not April. Back to mostly 60s for highs it looks like over the next 7-10 days based off my phone's weather app. Have a great Wednesday!

Merry Pines Day!
It's going to be partly sunny with highs near 68 degrees, chance of some afternoon showers. I have some errands to run for Easter. I know the stores are going to get more crowded as the week goes on so I'm going to try and cross a few things off of my list today. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. Dinner will be spaghetti & meatballs, mozzarella bread and a tossed salad. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Good Wednesday morning! Quite cooler this morning and more rain to come. I'll be getting a refresher course in first aid for the next two days and I have to shop for a big chocolate bunny to draw on Friday at work. Hope everyone is doing well and will have a great day!

Starting to close in now on binary Milestone markers, a topic we shall deal with once today's numbers are out of the way.
Days to the Season: 215
Days to Christmas Day: 257
--TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY, we will arrive at the 1/3 Christmas Day marker!
--Add just ONE more day, and we will be at the 200-day Season Window!
(The excitement builds, as we move into mid-April!)
Another really nice day here yesterday.
Mother Nature smiled and even threw in a bonus - the pollen count was down.
All in all, a pretty nice day for April here in NC.
This morning, we are beginning our middle-of-the-week day at 62 partly cloudy degrees.
OK, now. This is the final 'Pines open house before Easter, and Carl has the resort all decked out in fantastic floral spleandor! There will be an Easter egg hunt, of course. And rumor has it that instead of chocolate bunnies, there will be chocolate......camels. (Chocolate camels??) Oh, well. They should taste just as good.
Hope to see everyone there this evening.
In the meantime, have a Wildly Wonderful Wednesday, Everybody!

Good morning MMC! Merry Pines Day! For those of us who don't have to work on Friday, I guess it's kind of a double day ... Pines Day AND Friday Eve...
The wine night at our neighbors was really nice last night. She had 15 ladies there, including herself. It was fun. The wine was from Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Indiana, Ohio & Tennessee. There were also some wines from our local winery. And a few people brought of bottle of their own. Also a couple 6 packs of beer from our local brewery. It was interesting. Didn't get home until midnight. I really didn't think it would be that late of a night. Ah well! It's all good.
It's a beautiful day today. Lots of sunshine, the wind is supposed to stay calm & a high of 63! Bring it on!

Good Pinesday morning, Christmas friends!
We took Elizabeth and her best friend/cousin to the movies last night. Nancy took them to see Beauty & The Beast, while I saw Logan. This movie was a lot rougher than previous X-Men movies, both in violence and language. But, I'm a dude, so all the killing and dismembering was a plus!
I'm looking forward to one of Carl's chocolate camels tonight!
