Christmas Countdown - 2017

The elves have been somewhat unruly thus far this year, so Mrs. Claus and I have been extra busy keeping them in line. I hope to be on more. I love the Countdown!

My Hallmark ornament book came yesterday. Only two Star Trek ornaments for DH this year. Hallmark is concentrating on Star Wars this year.

Hi MMCers! A good Holy/Maundy Thursday to those who celebrate, and happy almost weekend to everyone!!

I'm working on being more determined in my life. I sometimes have a hard time following through. My goal is to really lean in and have a great weekend and a great week ahead, even in my busiest season besides Christmas at work! I can do this!

Man, I can't get over how close we are to the 200 days til season mark. Amazing. Time just flies, doesn't it?

I like to think of all the things that will come along in the next 100 days...Memorial Day, trips the the pool with the girls, Lindley's birthday, and the 4th of July.....deocrations at HOBBY LOBBY!!!....all of it is such a good time...and then it is gone. We will food ourself in back in school and in the Ber's before we know it....

Man, I can't get over how close we are to the 200 days til season mark. Amazing. Time just flies, doesn't it?

I like to think of all the things that will come along in the next 100 days...Memorial Day, trips the the pool with the girls, Lindley's birthday, and the 4th of July.....deocrations at HOBBY LOBBY!!!....all of it is such a good time...and then it is gone. We will food ourself in back in school and in the Ber's before we know it....

You ain't kidding Coach. This year has been a blur so far and it makes me wonder how fast we're going to turn around and it will be Memorial Day...and then we're on that long track through the summer and back to the Bers...

Happy Good Friday MMC! I'm off today and enjoying a 3 day weekend. Going to take Rollins to the vet this morning for a checkup and a few shots he's due. Then going to go to IHOP for lunch. A few errands after that and then back home to relax. Beautiful day here with temps supposed to reach the low 60s with sunshine. Have a great "Good" Friday!

It's going to be a nice day, sunny with a high of 60 degrees. Typical day for me, I have a couple of errands to run and then I'll be working on some chores around the house. I need stop by my butcher at some point as well to pick up our ham for Easter. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

We are now under 2 weeks away from BOTH of our next two Milestone markers!
Stay tuned for the exciting details.

But first, consider this:
Days to the Season: 213
Days to Christmas Day: 255

That first number tells us we are indeed under the two week mark to the 200-day Season Window!
And the ONE-THIRD marker to Christmas Day? Why, it's even closer, at 12 days!
In fact, we are getting shockingly close to SINGLE DIGITS to TWO Milestones.
(The excitment builds, Folks!)


We continue with our warm, dry weather.
Lots of sunshine is present, with a somewhat reduced pollen fall. Pretty good for mid April.
Even our azaleas are still in bloom!
More of the same today, I am pleased to report, and we have started it at 57 degrees here in our part of North Carolina.
