Christmas Countdown - 2017

Morning MMC! Happy Easter Monday! Hope you all had a great Easter Weekend. Back to work for me now and most likely for the next 6 weeks without a weekday off. That's my plan and then once we hit Memorial Day I've got it planned out to basically have 60% of the weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day to be 3 day weekends. I'm going to get too used to working 4 days a week in the summer I think. But for now back to work for a full week and I feel well-rested. I even fell asleep for an hour and a half nap yesterday late afternoon (I NEVER do that) and still slept another 7 hours last night. I'm telling you 3 day weekends are the best because they feel like a mini vacation. Have a great Monday!

Morning Edge. I have my second day off today and plan on some yard work before Wednesday's rain. I trust while you are awaiting Memorial Day that you do not miss Mother's Day...

Good Monday morning! Back at work today but for a short work week (3 days of work followed by 5 days off!). We're having an Easter Monday lunch for our social fund today. I made honey-roasted carrots and parsnips. I'm also in charge of bread and beverages. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day!

me too, back to work today after a nice 3 days off.
it is slowly getting warmer here. Flowers coming up all over the place and trees just starting to open up their leaves again. Spring is here !

Morning Christmasstar. Getting warmer here as well. Almost time for the first mowing, so I'll probably hit that today so I can lay down some new seed before the rain. Spring is certainly here and all the wonderful work that comes along with it...

Merry Monday!
It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with temperatures in the lower 70's. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We had a really nice day. I have lots of leftovers but I still need to run to the supermarket later to do some food shopping for the rest of the week. Other than that I will be working on some chores around the house. I may start to take down my Easter decor as well. I hope everyone has a great day!

Hi there HMG. It was a full but very enjoyable Easter for me. Not a lot of leftovers, but enough to make dinner for tonight on the light side. Doing my own set of chores today, which will be mostly outside and then spending some time catching up on the DVR with my better half (Connie).
Have a cup of coffee on me and enjoy the day...

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

I hope everyone has an Easter as great as mine was! I ate so much, I could barely wake up this morning LOL!

We had an uneventful trip home from Atlanta on Saturday, and it was great to see home. Lulu was very happy to see her daddy! Yesterday, we went to our regular church with mom at 9:30, then we went to church with Nancy's parents at 11:00. Both services were beautiful. Then we had a BIG lunch at Nancy's parents, and a BIG dessert at Mama's later. Whew!

Merry Monday!! Back to work...we had a nice Easter and so many leftovers but that is ok..the weather is beautiful out but I think we are going to get some rain this week and it going to cool down otherwise should be a quiet week. My oldest daughter joined the golf team and has her first match on Wednesday so that will be exciting! Not that golf is ever too exciting..lol but it is brand new for her so that is the exciting part! Have a great day!

Day #2 of ham. After the Christmas ham marathon I am not sure how long I can do it again. Gave a bunch to my neighbor..she is making Ham and Leek soup which she gives us a huge bowl. Awful stinky stuff but worth the smell..lol
