Good Morning, Folks.

Hey. I know what you're thinking. It was a Milestone Day yesterday. Why is the banner still there?
Well, there's a very good reason.
This is the second day of Back-To-Back Milestone Markers!

Days to the Season: 200
Days to Christmas Day: 242

And yes, there is no need for referral to our marker chart. The first count number tells the tale. It is indeed the TWO HUNDRED DAY SEASON WINDOW, and tomorrow will see us start a ONE HUNDREDS LEVEL Season count.
(Wow! Already to the 100's. So hard to believe!)


The nice, DRY weather is back and the leftover water from the last three days worth of precipitation is disappearing fast. The temp was nice and mild yesterday, as well.
Should be another good one today, and we have commenced things here at 66 degrees in the capital city.

Hi everyone!! HAPPY MILESTONE DAY!!!

So happy for us! We're moving along quickly!!! Hope everyone is enjoying the special evening and is looking forward to the weekend!

We normally shut the windows when we go to bed, just for that reason....allergies! Normally our AC is on though from April until we turn on the heat in October!

Allergies are the worst. Last Sunday I was fighting a losing battle with allergies and I caved and bought some medicine (I'm stubborn and never want to take medicine). Anyway one tiny pill and 30 minutes later all my symptoms were gone and I haven't had any other reactions since. I love sleeping with all the windows open, one of the many joys of Spring for me.

Morning MMC! TGIF! Last Weekend of April approaching. Looks like our weather will be early summer-like Friday and Saturday with highs near 80 and then a 15-20 degree drop for Sunday but still nice spring temps. I have some errands and things to do this weekend and plan on taking Rollins to the park both weekend days. Other than that some studying for my final exam in 10 days. Try to relax this weekend also after a busy week...and this isn't even my busiest week (next week is). But we made it to Friday guys and soon we'll make it to the weekend!

Good morning MMC!!! Happy, Happy Friday!!!!

I am very much looking forward to this weekend, having no plans except going to the lake! Well, I shouldn't say that - our lake neighbors Mom passed away, so we do need to go to the viewing Sunday afternoon. Very sad, but she was 93 & lived a great life. That makes it just a little easier - still stinks! This is our last weekend that's not totally nuts until June - and June will be busy too! May is packed full with graduations, weddings (2 of which are out of town - overnighters) and a 1st Communion + trying to get my weekend with Mom in there. Ahhhhhh! Anyway, planning to chill at the lake this weekend!

We ended up with less than 1/4" of rain yesterday. Hopefully that was enough to make our onions happy, until the next rain. Today we have a slight chance - tomorrow they say 90% chance, (go figure - Saturday!) but yesterday we had an 80% chance of rain all morning - it rained about an hour. LOL! So we'll see!

She is doing great! My aunt just got her back yard fenced in so she can run wild now. Watching her push the girl's ball around it with her nose is adorable.

How cute!!! My brothers Yorkie use to chase a soccer ball all over the yard - or you could throw it to him & he would "bop" it back to you with his nose. He had to have a broken nose!!! Glad to hear she's doing well!!!

I hope we are able to get some things started this weekend. We won't plant for a couple of more weeks probably, but we have a lot of work to do before then.

Merry Friday...TGIF for sure! This week was busy for me.
Last minute plans for me and I am going to the Eric Church concert tonight. My friend's husband got 2 tix so I am going with my girlfriends. It is Mohegan Sun, which is a casino about 1/2 hr away so we are leaving around 6 to grab dinner and then go to the show.
Otherwise will be a quiet weekend, we don't have much planned!

My niece sent me this picture last night. It has to be the best picture she's ever got of her.



She also seems to have taken up drinking
