Thanks Crown! 1 week to go till 100!Good Morning, Weekend Warriors.
Welcome to the latest epic release of the daily count numbers.
Let's take a look:
Days to the Season: 107
Days to Christmas Day: 149
And where will we be exactly ONE WEEK from today?
Why, at the 100-DAY SEASON WINDOW, that's where!
(Believe it or not, Ripley.)
And then, DOUBLE DIGITS to the beginning of the Season!
Another warm and humid one here yesterday until a rather vigorous rainstorm arrived n the early evening to cool things down.
Today should be dry with a predicted high of only 81, a nice change from the 90's we have been used to recently.
We commence part I of our weekend at 75 degrees here in our portion of MMC Land.
Have a Sensational Saturday, Everybody!
Enjoy your weekend.
Cats have their ways, don't they? When I was living back home, Bamm-Bamm seemed to ignore me most of the time ... but somehow he was always strolling near the door when I got home from work! The gift was well received. I picked up a lovely dog book for his Toddler brother who is obsessed with books. The one I found for him had images of real dogs of many breeds with pull tabs and flaps. Their mom was sweet enough to video them opening their gifts and sent it to me. It started off with Tyler wishing me a Merry Christmas in July and saying "luv you" and "thanks for the gift; what's in it?" And then I heard his mom say, "Open it up!" And he replied, "Oh yeah, I can open it now." Young Daniel with a limited vocabulary, but the dexterity to unwrap his book, started cheering, "Book! Book!" I heard him say, "ank you, awna" without prompting from his mom. On Friday, the boys showed up at work and Tyler had drawn a thank you picture for me. There was the track we walked around at the Relay. An image of him and a taller image of me along with two building-like images, one was wear the popcorn shop was and there other was our tent. That made my dad. He said, "I hope you like your Christmas in July picture. I really like my frog game." He helped me find a special spot for the picture to display in my office.
And as for those few days away; O'Malley the cat greeted me at the door and followed me around like a dog for a while after I got home. I'm beginning to think that the old boy actually cares about me and isn't just using me to give him food and clean his litter box.
