Good morning ~
Happy Saturday!
It's raining here this morning and we're currently at 68 degrees. We were supposed to attend a college graduation party for my nephew but there was a raindate on the invitation. The rain is supposed to stop but I have a feeling my SIL is going to have it tomorrow instead. Either way I need to do some food shopping at some point. Other than that I'll be working on the laundry. That's about it. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful weekend!

Sounds like a great gift!! He will be surprised!! Hope your 2 days out of town go well!!

The gift was well received. I picked up a lovely dog book for his Toddler brother who is obsessed with books. The one I found for him had images of real dogs of many breeds with pull tabs and flaps. Their mom was sweet enough to video them opening their gifts and sent it to me. It started off with Tyler wishing me a Merry Christmas in July and saying "luv you" and "thanks for the gift; what's in it?" And then I heard his mom say, "Open it up!" And he replied, "Oh yeah, I can open it now." Young Daniel with a limited vocabulary, but the dexterity to unwrap his book, started cheering, "Book! Book!" I heard him say, "ank you, awna" without prompting from his mom. On Friday, the boys showed up at work and Tyler had drawn a thank you picture for me. There was the track we walked around at the Relay. An image of him and a taller image of me along with two building-like images, one was wear the popcorn shop was and there other was our tent. That made my day. He said, "I hope you like your Christmas in July picture. I really like my frog game." He helped me find a special spot for the picture to display in my office.

And as for those few days away; O'Malley the cat greeted me at the door and followed me around like a dog for a while after I got home. I'm beginning to think that the old boy actually cares about me and isn't just using me to give him food and clean his litter box.

Morning MMC! A cooler and cloudy Saturday here in late July. A lot of rain is happening south of us but we may only see a shower or 2 out of it today. Still mostly cloudy today so not a lot of sun to enjoy, if any at all. Good day to get a lot of errands done. Sunday should be a lot nicer with the weather. Can't believe it's the last weekend of July. Only 1 more month after this till the Bers! Unreal. Have a great Saturday!

Good Morning, Weekend Warriors.
Welcome to the latest epic release of the daily count numbers.

Let's take a look:
Days to the Season: 107
Days to Christmas Day: 149

And where will we be exactly ONE WEEK from today?
Why, at the 100-DAY SEASON WINDOW, that's where!
(Believe it or not, Ripley.)
And then, DOUBLE DIGITS to the beginning of the Season!

Another warm and humid one here yesterday until a rather vigorous rainstorm arrived n the early evening to cool things down.
Today should be dry with a predicted high of only 81, a nice change from the 90's we have been used to recently.
We commence part I of our weekend at 75 degrees here in our portion of MMC Land.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everybody!
Enjoy your weekend.

Thanks Crown! 1 week to go till 100!

Good morning! Happy Saturday! Just having a cup of coffee and my daughter has a soccer game at 1 then should be a relaxing day catching up on laundry. Hope you all have a good day!

Well, back home today and tomorrow and then I head out to a conference tomorrow afternoon. Get to come back Wednesday and my travel is done! It has been a hectic month.

The concert was amazing, but I'm glad it is over. Being back with my little girls is all the fun I need.

I woke up this morning thinking about Christmas. I know it is because we are getting close to 100 days to the season, but I just am unusually fired up this morning. Maybe the Christmas bug is biting me a little earlier than usual...

Well, I am about to head out and play outside. See y'all later!

Good Saturday morning! This last vacation weekend will have absolutely perfect weather. It's rare to see a 0% chance of precipitations. We may go see fireworks tonight, not sure yet. For now we're just relaxing and trying to figure out Windows 10
on a new computer I got David for his birthday. Have a great weekend everyone!

Just turned the page to August in my calendar as I plan for next week...where did July go? Not complaining! It's been a great month, and now we're headed into the first longer-named month of the year, a sure sign cooler weather and the holidays are just around the corner!! Soaking up every single second of it! Today we're saying goodbye to some friends and watching a resident from the retirement community I work at throw out the first pitch at the local baseball game-he's 100 years old and has been practicing for months!! We are so excited!! Hope everyone has a GREAT day. 1 week we'll be at 100 and I'll celebrate by starting half marathon training again! Woohoo!!

Cats have their ways, don't they? When I was living back home, Bamm-Bamm seemed to ignore me most of the time ... but somehow he was always strolling near the door when I got home from work!

Count me in with those who can't believe that July is nearly over. Most of the year has been an absolute blur! Another cloudy day here---hoping maybe we'll get some sunshine later this afternoon (but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting).

Also count me in with those who are already getting fired up about Christmas. Usually I start updating address lists and shopping lists and working on our annual DVD clipfest in August, but I already have those activities under way. I've also been listening to some Christmas music and even bought some more ... as though we don't already have plenty and then some! But I have no sales resistance when I discover some new festive music!

Quite a day! We each spent some time looking for music that we'd like to use on Kringle Radio this year, and looking for Christmas clips for this year's annual DVD. Turned out to be a pretty Christmassy day! I'll probably do some more Christmas-related things tomorrow, too.
