Good morning everyone. The Spirit Halloween store has opened in our area. This is the earliest I remember them opening, but no complaints here!
We are pretty close to that special, spooky time of year.
64 days until Halloween. Wow, this week we will hit that two month mark! And they're the best two months in our count, when the rest of the world has caught up to us and our love for all things Halloween.
There's only 25 days until the first day of Fall and the Halloween season.
Here's the best part: 4 days until September 1st!

It depends, I scare easily. Not sure how much I can handle if the attraction is terrifying. I prefer more famly friendly events
I have not been to one in years. I guess as our kids were so young they couldn't really go. I think I scare easier now that I am a mum

Well the kids have decided this year we are going to do pumpkins again and my daughter has decided she wants to be a witch. I dont know if our son will come - hes 13 now - although he might take part if his sister is going. He is good at joining in with things for her.
Woke up with a jingle in my head. Instead of the coca cola advert song 'the holidays are coming' I've got 'The Hallowdays are coming ...'
I picked up a couple autumn wreaths on Monday. One of them was in the Halloween section. It's made of old real twigs/branches. Very rustic and also spooky looking. I am thinking of adding some web, small spiders and bats to it. I will post a photo when I do it. So excited to start putting up fall/halloween decorations in a couple weeks!!

When are you guys starting to decorate for fall/Halloween??
I will start around second week of September with autumnal stuff like wreaths and my lemax autumn/harvest/spooky town village pieces. I will build to it over the weeks with the more scarier Halloween things to go up last in October.
