Christmas Countdown - 2017

Sunday night already, why do the weekends fly by so fast? I was so busy this weekend that it just flew by but at least i got a lot done. Front porch has been cleaned off, just need to finish weeding and it will all be ready to decorate for fall and halloween. Spent most of today cleaning and decluttering most of the house today. Started decorating the inside for fall, hoping to finish before the end of the week. Have a great night.

Looks really nice. I will be the first to admit that when I schedule a visit to an amusement park, I usually check on what days it is less crowded. Not that I do not like people, but I love less of them in line for the next ride... lol.

Good Monday Morning Martine. Looks like South Dakota is ready for Fall temps. The next ten days or so will be cooler, with only a couple of them predicted to break 70. Your "cooler" dinner sounds good and one of the many reasons I love my BBQ in the Summer.

Morning Niktsak. And hello from across the pond. 54 here at 4:28AM and rain. I love it. Christmas is on the way and I have already done some of the outside planning, but first... Halloween and Thanksgiving. Enjoy your Monday and have a fun end to the month of September...

And have a great Morning Minta. My Sunday flies as well, but usually due to sleeping some after my last shift, the NFL and evening church service. Of course I have the luxury of Monday and Tuesday mornings off to get other things done. Hopefully I can get some interior Fall decs up today as well.
It's the last week of September, so enjoy and have fun...

Good Monday morning all. Once again, it has been a few days since my visit here. I don't recall having been as busy last year, but that failing short-term memory might be to blame for that...

Got my new Lakeside Collection catalog Saturday and I will have to mark a few pages for my better half to examine for possible items under the tree this year...

Cool and rainy this morning, so not a whole lot on the agenda. I will make a trip to the Zoo and deliver a new Halloween inflatable I got for them and stop by Hobby Lobby on the way back to check it out as well. Beyond that, I am making some fresh bread for the day (it never makes it to dinner), a roast and doing some early Christmas examination of the many boxes that fill up an area where a car is suppose to be parked. Maybe it is time I invested in a portable storage shed or rented a compartment. I'll have to think about that. I have also measured out the corral and picked up the metal stakes for the fencing. Now to watch the weather and make sure there are in place before any ground freezes.
Last week of September and the completion of the third week of the NFL. Ahhh, the changing times...

Morning MMC! Happy Rudolph Day #9! Yikes #9! We're really moving ahead. Today we expect sunny skies and a high of 87. A very warm late September day. Should be the last few days though coming up as by the weekend highs may not get out of the 60s. More normal weather for early Autumn. Anyway, it was a pretty busy weekend which means it went too fast. Next weekend should be quieter. Have a great Monday everyone!

Greetings Edge. A warm day for you indeed! Your weekend looks much, much better. I will have a longer weekend going up during the second week of October and take Sunday - Tuesday (8th - 10th). The 10th is my wife's birthday and I have to admit, I'm really getting to love those shorter weeks...

Have a funday Monday and a great last week of September. When your weekend rolls around, it will be October 1st...

And as we enter the final quarter of our count, we also take note that Christmas day is exactly 3 months from today, as if we needed yet another reason to be happy!

We are in a weather rut but a relatively pleasant one. A tad on the warm side, but the lower humidity readings offset the heat to make for a nice day overall.
We should be sunny and warm for this week with little chance of rain, and we have commenced this first day of the week at 66 degrees.

Happy Milestone day!

Hello friends. It was brutally hot over the weekend and will take a step down today, but still looks to hit the low 80's here in KC. However, the forecast this week looks to be dropping to the high 60's and low 70's. That fall weather seems to be on the horizon.
