I hope everyone's Friday is going well!
We had a good time at Fenway last night, even though the Sox lost 12 to 2.

It was a bit chilly, but otherwise beautiful weather. I'm looking forward to the weekend, because the last one didn't recharge me fully!
Hershey has Halloween kisses this year with foil decorated with spiders, bats, and ghosts ... couldn't resist snagging a bag of them. On the other hand, I heard on the radio this morning that a local elementary school is doing away with its Halloween party for students because some parents kept their kids at home last year in protest. This year the school is having "an autumn celebration" instead in early November. It's sad to me how holidays that are meant as harmless, fun celebrations are transformed into public political battlefields.
But here is one place in the world where we can celebrate our holidays and enjoy them. Hooray for MMC!
