Good morning MMC! Merry Friday! YAY!!! We had a nice night at the lake last night. I made stovetop cheeseburger sandwiches for us & we watched the new episode of Will & Grace. I never watched that show while it was on, but when the reruns came to Hallmark, I think I saw every one of them!
The 2 dogs did pretty well together in the trailer. Lucy normally sleeps in our bed at the lake, so Jackson wouldn't even walk in the bedroom. He slept on the couch. Ha ha! I had another "it's getting darker, awakening moment" this morning when I went to leave the lake to head home before work & it was still too dark out to find their pooh to clean up! That hasn't been a problem this year, up until today! Bah humbug!
This afternoon I'll be heading home to pick up the dogs & bring them to the lake, I'll pick up my 2 friends who have the day off work, then pick up the Amish girl (Marie) from Moms & we'll all head to Amishville. After we bring Marie home, we'll go to the Amish greenhouse for mums & pumpkins. So fun! Then we are heading to the winery as today is the last day of their sale! Tomorrow is my nieces bridal shower. It's a Buckeye football theme...which is awesome - we get to come in our Buckeye apparel!! We have the shower 1st, then they have a big screen rented to watch the game, then the bachelorette party! They are having all kinds of tailgate food. Should be FUN! Sunday - no plans! Whew! Should be a beautiful weather weekend!

Elizabeth is in the Homecoming Court tonight, so I have to walk out on the football field with her in her beautiful dress tonight. I'll be so proud!

There is also the tradition of the Junior/Senior Wars. Somebody will be climbing trees this weekend LOL.

I hope everyone's Friday is going well!

We had a good time at Fenway last night, even though the Sox lost 12 to 2. It was a bit chilly, but otherwise beautiful weather. I'm looking forward to the weekend, because the last one didn't recharge me fully!

Hershey has Halloween kisses this year with foil decorated with spiders, bats, and ghosts ... couldn't resist snagging a bag of them. On the other hand, I heard on the radio this morning that a local elementary school is doing away with its Halloween party for students because some parents kept their kids at home last year in protest. This year the school is having "an autumn celebration" instead in early November. It's sad to me how holidays that are meant as harmless, fun celebrations are transformed into public political battlefields.

But here is one place in the world where we can celebrate our holidays and enjoy them. Hooray for MMC!

Puppies will do that. A coworker showed me a video of his puppy who totally wore out a Labrador. Poor dog was lying on the floor and the puppy was still tugging at its ears/tail etc. Sounds like Lucy loves her new friend.

LOL!! Oh yes, puppies are ruthless!!! Lucy does love her new friend! Jackson will put her in her place, but he's also protective of her!

After another hot day with a high of 83. Tomorrow's forecast high is 71 and Saturday's is 69 with a low of 46. Its about time fall arrived. Unfortunately temps are expected to go back to upper 70s next week. We'll enjoy the nice temps while we can.

Good evening, my dear friends.

FALL WEATHER IS BACK!

We are 15 degrees cooler today than yesterday (it was 91 yesterday) and it sure is a welcome change. I was outside on our deck yesterday and all of the sudden the wind picked up, the temp dropped like 7 or 8 degrees in a few minutes...and about 15 degrees within an hour. I just smiled and enjoyed it with a nice glass of apple cider from my Keurig and felt as if fall came to visit me. It was so nice.

About to head home and enjoy some pizza and Thursday night football. See y'all tomorrow!

We were sitting outside Wednesday night & experienced the same thing! Had to go in & get a sweatshirt!!

Finally got the windows back open and the AC off. Such a wonderful cool breeze coming in the windows. Stopped in the grocery store today and as soon as you walk in they have a whole wall up front filled with all kinds of goodies for the holiday baking season!

I also live in Ohio...we have so many nice lakes to visit. Which is your favorite?

Grand Lake is our "home"! We love to visit Indian Lake too, though I've never been on the lake, we've been around it to the restaurants, trailer sales & marina's.
We have always been big fans of Lake Cumberland, KY. And yours?

Is it really Friday??

I am looking forward to a nice cosy Friday evening and weekend in with the family. We will be making some seasonal cookies , watching some Halloween shows and toasting marshmallows on the fire Love this time of year!

I am catching up with some stuff today most of which is on the PC. After that I will be ordering some floor samples and browsing some stone cladding and rustic mantle shelves for the fire place. Considering a very nice chocolate brown wood for the floors and old castle stone for the chimney/fire place. The messy work is pretty much over so just floors, fireplace and painting now to complete our family room. Then we can finally take a break !

Happy Friday MMC! Today we expect a beautiful day with a high of 70 under sunny skies. Just looking forward to an early Autumn Weekend here. Can't wait. And starting to focus on Halloween with October right around the corner. Just amazing how fast September has gone by. I hope our Holiday Season won't go this fast. And other than that, not sure what to order tonight. Maybe a sandwich? A burger? Suggestions? Have a great Friday!

Good morning ~
Happy Friday!
The temperatures cooled off a bit, we're currently at 52 degrees but will warm up to a high of 68. I don't have too much planned. I need to work on a menu plan and grocery list and run to the butcher. I also plan on taking a ride to The Christmas Tree Shop with my mom. I'll be working on daily chores in between. That's about it. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Waking up this morning could not believe that it is Friday and only one more day this month. Than we hit the big ole spooky October and really cant wait for that. Today will be pretty busy have to take daughter to school than pick her back up around noon for the Homecoming Parade and then we will go to either McDonalds playground till its time for me to go to work toinght.

Crazy that it's the last day of September! Hope your daughter has a fun time at the Homecoming Parade!! And I hope you have a great day too.

Happy Friday!! We made it through yet another week! Just work for me today and my oldest daughter has a soccer game today at 4 so I will go to that. Not too many plans for the weekend. My youngest has a softball game on Sunday and that is about it. I am so excited for this fall weather! Hope you all have a great day!
