Thanks and after your busy day yesterday and with the Zoo Bash the rest of this weekend it sounds like you deserve some relaxation too.
Greetings Claire. Sounds like fun. My wife was a bit taken back by my early and somewhat extensive decorating for Christmas, but went from... "This early?" to "Very festive" and finally when are we putting them up?". So she has adjusted nicely...

Good Saturday morning, Christmas friends!
Today is the day I have to clean up the yards and house in anticipation of the Halloween crowds on Tuesday night. The company who recently provided faster internet for Bellville is also making a MESS of the sidewalks, drilling underground with their cables...just days before Halloween! I'll have to rent a pressure washer to clean that up.
Still, it's a nice day, with a high close to 80. Then we get a another cooling cycle just in time for Trick-or-Treating.

Morning Brad. I can relate to the clean-up, but in my case it is the never-ending supply of leaves. I get the container filled, only have a few remaining and here comes the wind, bringing a lot more to my humble abode.Good Saturday morning, Christmas friends!

Certainly something I had yet to consider. After this Saturday and Sunday, we only have two more weekends until we enter the Christmas Season. Incredible!

It's a beautifully sunny morning in Canada's Capital. It's the calm before the storm, however. We're going to get hit later this evening by a fairly massive rainfall. They're predicting about 50-60mm/6cm/2.3inches. I am really hoping that there's some cover for my 5km race tomorrow. Even so, it's going to be a wet one!
At the moment, we're just waking up and should be on our way in about an hour or so. It's going to be an exciting day. I really hope that we find our Christmas Tree of years to come. Obviously, it won't be going up for another 16 days, but it will be very nice to have in our possession... especially with their current sale prices!

Holy smokes! Has it really been almost two weeks since I have been here? Boy, talk about busy....two seperate trips out of town, a board meeting, and four football games have tied me up. Not to mention going to a pumpkin patch and a corn maze last weekend. Good times. We were going to go to a "Zoo Boo" tonight, but it is pretty darn cold. Instead, we are going to go to Bass Pro and meet Snoopy and Charlie Brown.
Not to interfere with oru beloved countdown here, but I got one I want to share....

Not too much going on here today. I snuck out of here early this morning to get my food shopping over with. Just having a cup of coffee and working on the laundry right now. I may a take ride out again this afternoon to pick up a couple of more mums. We’ll just be catching up on some shows later this evening, there’s also a hockey game on as well. That’s about it. Hope everyone is having a great day so far!!!

Just a regular Saturday here, but that's great! Cool, bright, and sunny, but we're supposed to get heavy rain and damaging winds tomorrow night. It's supposed to clear out in time for Halloween. Looking forward to some movies and TV tonight that go along with Halloween!

busy day here with lots of running around. Found LittleCS a new bed she has been looking for that will be delivered on moving day.
Found my son the book he wanted for his birthday coming up on November 2
picked up a few things, hit a half price sale at the thrift store in London and found a used sewing machine for only $25
On the way home there was some wet snow mixed in with all the rain, not much but enough to know it was there. It was only 3c ( 37f) today, so with rain it made it really miserable.
But good to be home. Enjoyed a hot bowl of soup for supper.

Same reason here, it was just to hot this month to do it sooner. Summer came late this year, but it was nice !
Happy Saturday to one and all! Watching QVC with my new, lovely and darling wife! Yes, I got married to a very spectacular woman (IE... one that can put up with me, LOL!!!!). I am now an official resident of Connecticut as well. Yes Maryland man (engineer) marries Connecticut woman (school teacher); Wow.... It's been a really cool and wild road trip, glad I didn't go to Vegas! LOL!!!
Hot diggity dog, it's that time of year again, QVC has Christmas on, Hallmark channel is airing Christmas movies and all the stores are filled with Christmas decorations! Gotta Love it!
I was just telling my wife all about that year on QVC when poor ole Rudolph took a really rough ride, against his will.....She laughed so hard!
