I like 5 am on Black Friday! Too tired after 2 parties & 2 big meals to go out at midnight! LOLI'm so thankful they're doing this. It always upsets me to know folks can't enjoy their holiday with their families. My husband works in health care so that's one reason to miss, but to miss for others that aren't vital always seemed a shame for me. Open at midnight on Black Friday!

Still needs decorations. this is about 8" tall. It took 5 hours to make as each bough was made separately and then put on to form the tree.
Sounds like a plan. I am sorry you have to miss out on all the family but you are doing what's best for your mama. Yeah I am sure they won't mind you being a few minutes late. So Thanksgiving with my in-laws is for lunch at noon on Thanksgiving Day! Bad news = that's the end of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade when Santa comes!!!! Good news = they only live about 5 minutes from us! I might be just a few minutes late! (they don't watch the parade....EVER!) Lunch is usually not ready exactly at noon anyway! I'll put a bug in my MIL's ear that I will be there at 12:05...Ha ha!! I hate missing the end of the parade! Such a fun tradition!
We have a family meeting at our house tomorrow night, so I'm sure at some point we'll discuss what our Thanksgiving plans will be, if any! Can't imagine not having Thanksgiving with my family, but we have to do our best to keep mama healthy! xx

Sorry I've been absent for a few days. The time change has ruined my sleep schedule, and work has gotten crazy. Our upper management has accepted an order for hundreds of poles to be delivered to Puerto Rico. The deliveries have to start next week, and finish by the end of the year. It's a great money opportunity, but we're working the plant to the extremes trying to get it done in time.
And Nancy starts a new part-time job this morning. She's very excited, since the business owner wanted an accountant he could trust and was willing to pay very generously. It's only a couple hours a day, so it won't interfere with anything else she does. Good for her...and us!
Anyway, it's supposed to be 85°F today, but only 60° by Thursday. Crazy!
