Christmas Countdown - 2017

Hello all.
Well, we finally got a little snow. Not a ton, maybe an inch or so, but it looks so nice. We drove around to look at Christmas lights in the snow this evening. I love how the lights look with the snow falling and snow on the bushes.
We are expecting little bursts of snow at various points throughout the week. None of them much, but maybe the weather pattern stays active enough through Christmas that we might get a white Christmas!

Good morning MMC, Happy Sunday!
It’s going to be sunny today with highs near 40 degrees. Not too much going on here. My husband and I attended a Christmas party last night and got in pretty late. I’ll just be taking it easy today. I have to do a couple of loads of laundry and I think I’ll start writing out my Christmas cards.

Morning MMC! We received about 5 inches of snow on Saturday. It was a snowy Saturday and a winter wonderland. Looks like it's going to be a cold week ahead too so it should stick around for a little while. Just going to my Uncle's tonight for a little Christmas party on our monthly meeting. Have a great day!
 
Good Morning Christmas friends...Hope everyone is having a Merry and Joyful weekend so far....We are into the second week of December already..How time flys when your having the time of your life lol..We are all decorated inside and out...We also have 10-15cm of snow fallen overnight here..It feels soo christmassy wakening upto a winter wonderland outside....Enjoy the rest of your weekend with your loved one's-sing-

Good Morning, Everyone!

The four week mark of Christmas Season 2017. We have arrived there already.
Mercy me!

We are also getting close to arriving at Christmas Day 2017 as well.
The proof:
Days to Christmas Day: 15 (TWO WEEKS from TOMORROW!)
(Incredible. On the threshold of the two week mark. Wow!)


Another very negative day weather wise yesterday. Rain mixed with occasional light snow fell nearly the entire day. The temps remained above freezing though, so nothing stuck to the roads or sidewalks.
Today should be another cold one but at least it will be dry.
We have started out just under the freezing mark at 31.8 degrees here this morning.


Have a Super Sunday, Folks
(Can the Panthers recover from last Sunday's loss and keep their divisional title hopes alive? They have a tough game against the Vikings this afternoon!)
 
Morning all!! Woke up to a bit of snow this morning and watched Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas. The holiday season is slipping away quickly again unfortunately. Time to make the most of every moment!!
 
Morning, y'all! Hope all is well! Two weeks from Christmas....goodness. Is everyone ready? I'm glad we get out of school early this week, I need to do some shopping! Both of our girls are sick, so I'm hoping they get better so we can get out and about in the next few days. Was hoping to go see Santa, but no go this weekend!

Good afternoon everyone! We had a dusting of snow last night and it was beautiful. However, I did have to go out and the side roads were kinda slick. The freeways were good though. They do a good job with our freeways around here. I am having a nice easy Sunday cheering on my fantasy football team. We are also making some Andes Mint fudge, cinnamon sugar pecans, and nut bread. All of this is for the boxes we ship to friends and family that we don't get to see at Christmas. I hope everyone has a nice relaxing day!!

Good Sunday afternoon! It snowed during the night and this morning, just enough to cover everything in a pretty white blanket. We'll be heading out to our city's Christmas market in a few. My cold is keeping me down today (I slept most of the afternoon), but I think this is the perfect day to go to the market with the snowy backdrop and cozy temperatures. Will report back with pictures. Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!

Good late evening everyone.
Well, my Browns were able to lose again! I was worried they might accidentally win a game. But, fear not, the defense collapsed and the QB was able to throw an interception. :confused: Ah, the life of a Browns fan.

Anyway, back to school tomorrow. The last full week before Christmas break. The week after that is just exams through Wednesday with an early release on that Wednesday.

This Wednesday is exciting though! My oldest son, Nathan, who is a senior, is joining the Army!!! He has already picked his job and all of that. This Wednesday he goes to MEPS for his physical and to swear in. So, my wife and I are taking the day off to watch him swear in. He does not leave for the Army until the end of July, but it is great he will be all set up and ready to go. I am super happy for him, and most importantly he is happy about his job, training, and leave date.

Hello everyone!

Just to wish you all a most magnificent christmas and happy slide into the new year!
We're flying to England tonight - south first, then later north. The north has great snow now, which will undoubtedly turn to mush before we arrive, but no big deal! To see the rolling hills of England again will be a gift in and of itself.

I won't have much access to the internet while on holiday, so i'll again take this opportunity to wish you every happiness this season, and to thank you for your companionship through the year.

Also to Crown, for the ever-exciting'er daily countdown!

Merry Christmas, woooooo!!!
