Thanks HMG! I hope to NOT get it too! Since we had cookie day at our house Saturday, Jim went over to some friends house Sat. night. 2 of the people he was with there are home sick today! UGH!

Good morning ~
Happy Tuesday!
It’s going to be sunny and warmer today with highs near 50 degrees. I have to do some food shopping this morning, back home afterward to work on my daily chores and keep chipping away at the gift wrapping. My mother is stopping by later this afternoon to visit. And it’s Taco Tuesday so that is what’s for dinner. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

I went to the grocery last night to get the bulk of the food I need. There was hardly anybody there! It was great! I need to go back later this week so the bread is fresh for bruschetta - I'm sure it will be a different story by then!!

Morning MMC! I can tell my appetite isn't what it normally is yet. I ate some yesterday but maybe half of what I normally eat and I still didn't feel hungry after eating that much. Got home last night a little late so of course I lost some sleep. That's what happens this week. Dragged myself out of bed early and now going to get ready for work. Have a great day!

Hope you are feeling 100% VERY soon!! Jim said he lost 7 lbs! EEK - not the way I want to do it!!

Days to Christmas Day: 6(LESS THAN ONE WEEK LEFT TO WAIT!!)
(It's not too late to try to get in a little niceness, you know.)


Speaking of nice, that's what it was here yesterday, with plenty of sun, temps in the low 60's, gentle breezes and no precipitation.
Today should be even nicer and we are predicted to reach the mid 60's by this afternoon.
Currently, we observe 42.6 degrees on our digital temperature recorder.

Happy Tuesday!! I am done shopping...well just about, I have to grab a couple stocking stuffers at CVS and then I will be done. Back to work today and we have my younger daughter's chorus concert tonight at 6. Tonight I am making a new meal called 20 minute One pan gnocchi with Italian Sausage and spinach. We need something quick before the concert.

Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday. I can't believe next week at this time, Christmas 2017 will be behind us! So we need to make Merry these next 7 days!!! (including today) It's all coming so fast!!!
My hubby went to work today. He was not 100% - he was breaking out in sweat from time to time, but hopefully once he gets moving, it will get better. I hope so anyway - he has 130 stops today!
Just work for me today. I'm working on washing all the bed clothes to get rid of the icks, & hopefully tonight I'll have time to go through all the presents I have bought & maybe start wrapping. Regardless, there will be Christmas on tv or Christmas music playing!!

Good Tuesday-before-Christmas morning! It's snowing again here. I like a white Christmas but this makes it hard going into work. I've yet to finish shopping for stocking stuffers, this is cutting it way too close for comfort. I'll be spending all evening tomorrow cooking store-bought tourtières (traditional Québec meat pies) and chicken pot pies (for those at work who don't eat pork). Then on Thursday I'll spend all evening cooking two turkey roasts that I ordered at the butcher's, and making egg-salad sandwiches, and making roast potatoes, all for our employee Christmas lunch at work on Friday. And Friday after work, I'll be baking non-stop till I don't know what time, for the gift baskets that I give to my family members each year. At least there's not much work involved in cooking tourtières/roasts, just got to keep an eye on them in the oven. Hope everyone enjoys a great day!
