Good Morning, my Friends!

Really starting to close in now on Milestone marker number two.
Details to follow after the presentation of today's numbers.
Here they are:
Days to the Season: 286
Days to Christmas Day: 328

And marker #2, the ONE-QUARTER point to the Season?
Well, it's now only 12 days away. So close to SINGLE DIGITS!
(The year is just flying by and it's still January.)

We have definitely taken a chilly turn, as today's start-up temperature reading of 25 degrees indicates.
Today will retain a chill but tomorrow promises to see us back near 60.
And no rain forecasted until Sunday.

OK. It's Wednesday once again. (Or as Carl would insist, "Hump Day".)
But regardless of what you might think of our resident activities director's narcissism, you can't deny that he presents unique entertainment at our beloved 'Pines.
Tonight's theme is "Farewell to January". (I can't really pick up on just what that theme would entail, but it's bound to be interesting and watchable.)
Hope to see each and every one of you there.

And until then, you try your level best to have a Wonderful Wednesday, OK?
Thanks crown! Have a good day! See you tonight!

Merry Wednesday!
Last day of January...hard to believe! I saw 3 houses still lit up last night when I was on my way home from a meeting.
Tonight I am going out for Mexican with 2 girlfriends...it has been a long time since we have caught up so it should be a fun time!
Hope you all have a great day!
Have a great time tonight. How fun! (And yummy!) ENJOY!

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

The meeting is behind me, and I have a lot of stuff to catch up on. We met with an old customer that used to do a lot of business with is, but not so much in the last few years. It was good to see several of them again, and we had a lot of laughs about the old days, but I didn't get a strong sense that they were ready to come back to us yet. Oh well. It's not always a home run. At least the lunch was great! LOL

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
Sorry they aren't ready to come back yet, but it sounds like you had a great meeting & lunch!!!
Have a Merry Pines Day!

Ah the fun of locking yourself out of your home without having your phone on you...I changed my routine this morning when I was preparing to take out Loki for his walk, as I wanted to put on cleats that I bought to prevent from slipping on icy sidewalks, and I forgot my keys and phone. Loki got a nice long 40-minute walk to David's place of work, where I got his keys and drove back home. He will not let me live this down. Especially since it happened to him a couple of times in the past and I would tease him about it.
Greetings Martine. How does that go? What goes around...
Have a great day...

A Wonderful Wednesday to the MMC community. First month of 2018 is about to close and since I will be sleeping this afternoon, by the time I get up and ready for shift number 2 this week, it will be about over.
The lunar eclipse this morning (between 6 & 6:45AM) was very cool. Getting to see the moon in it's reddish hue and then of course slowly fade away. Since it takes so much longer for a lunar that a solar eclipse, I will not be able to see it reappear. By then the sun will be high in the sky. But it was nice to see.
Have a great day everyone, only 50 days till Spring...

It's ok, after all the help you give with your nieces, you deserve to watch 24 straight hours of racing! :) My BIL is heading to Daytona on Friday for race MONTH! ;) I'm glad they are feeling better! Have a great day made!!!

I’m jealous!! I was looking at going down next week to watch Spacex try to launch their new falcon heavy rocket and then go to Daytona for practice and the Clash next weekend but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.

Good morning ~
Happy Pines Day!
It’s going to be sunny and colder today with highs near 33, we’re currently at 17 degrees. I need to do some food shopping later this morning. Back home afterward to fry meatballs and make a pot of sauce. I’m making raviolis for dinner. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. I’m also going to browse online, I would like to get a doggy car seat for Rocky. I guess that’s about it. I hope everyone is well. See you tonight!
xx

Have fun shopping!! Dinner sounds wonderful!!

I heard Carl saying something about his new drink being inspired by the Super blue blood moon. I’m scared what it might be!!!

A cross between a blue weasel and a bloody mary?

Clouds ruined the eclipse here for the second time this year. Glad you were able to enjoy it!

I bet the moon was cool to see. It was too cloudy here. Bummer! :(
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Well that's too bad it's not going to work out. I'm sure you would have loved it!!!
Hope you're having a good Pines day!
