Christmas Countdown - 2018

Good afternoon ... This week just seems like it's taking forever to get through. Not much going on today, daughter wants to look at prom dresses on line tonight. We are going prom dress shopping next month, she is going to 2 proms, her junior prom and her boyfriend's senior prom, they attend different schools and their proms are 2 weeks apart. Going to be an expensive spring as we also need to order her class ring too. Oh well .. the things we do for our kids and the money we spend on them LOL. Hope everyone has a great day!
 
Since she's going to two proms, you just saved 50% on her dress...I think.o_O

The cold front appears to be moving through now. We dropped a few degree's & the sky looks like snow/winter!!!
My friend texted me & asked if it was snowing or if she was seeing cr*p floating from the mill...It must have been mill stuff cuz I haven't seen any snow. Darn!

I was thinking this same thing at lunch when a friend texted me telling me to get my sweater off (of my bitmoji) & get a tank top & shorts on. Though she's the 1st one to roll her eyes when I'm getting excited for Christmas in September. Hmmmm... LOL!!

We just got back from the Dr and it is high ankle sprain but no ligament damage so that is a good thing. She is in a boot for 2 weeks. I think the boot weighs more than she does...lol but she said it does feel better with it on her foot.

Glad to hear it wasn't broken & no ligament damage!! I have had ankle issues in the past (weak ankles) - hopefully they are all in the past! It hurts!!! Hope she does well with that big boot!! ;)

That's a bummer. They have them here - usually in February (I think) - or a little closer to spring.

Oh, prom fever has already started at my house, too. A few of the girls in my daughter's class already have their dresses, and E is afraid they'll be picked over if she doesn't get it immediately LOL.

Not much going on here today except work...oh ya...and celebrating my wonderful mama's 89th birthday!! :D (actually we're not celebrating until Sunday but I'm guessing she will get a lot of visitors & calls today - including me!!) I hope she has a better morning than she has been having this week. xx

So far we have a dreary day. We're supposed to have a high of 37 & then the temps are supposed to drop through the day to 25, with a low of 13 tonight. It's currently 36! Cold enough! LOL!
