Christmas Countdown - 2018

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday!!! TGIF!!! We have a chilly 11º, feel like -1º, but plenty of sunshine!! According to the forecast (if you believe them) We could get 1-3" of snow on Sunday, 1-3" of snow Monday night, 1-3" of snow Tuesday, 5-8" of snow Tuesday night, & snow Wed. morning! Less than an inch predicted for Thurs night. Whew! We will probably have a blizzard while my hubby is on vacation! Maybe I'll get a snow day!! I already have Wed. off - might be a good thing!!!

Happy Friday!
We woke up to a couple of inches of snow and some ice so my kids had a 2 hr delay.
Not too much planned this weekend. My husband and I are going out for a quick dinner tonight while my youngest daughter is at basketball practice.
Sunday night we go to a friend's house for the Superbowl.

Morning MMC. Happy Groundhogs Day! 6 more weeks of winter? I can deal with that. I am ready for a 3 day weekend here as I took off Monday after the Superbowl. Probably after Christmas Eve Dinner and Thanksgiving Dinner the Superbowl Meal might be my 3rd favorite of the year. I'm saying the Pats will win but we'll see. As a Jets fan, I hope he wins and says he had enough and retires finally! Have a great Groundhogs Day TGIF style!

Enjoy your 3 day weekend! So nice to have that extra day off to relax.

Wow!! That will be a lot of snow.
We may have some snow Sunday night but they are saying it may mix with rain..who knows? But I did see on our long term forecast we could have a few more storms within the next few weeks.

Happy Friday, everyone!

We had rain turning to snow overnight, so everything is wet and due to flash-freeze later today. The drive to work wasn't bad, but I worry about the drive home. Hopefully they'll stay on top of keeping the roads treated today.

No big Super Bowl plans in our household ... we're not into football at all. We'll probably go to our "screening room" to see a couple films that Mr. picked up and rehabbed recently. (If we lived near an archive, he'd be in demand as a restoration technician, because he's a wizard at film splicing and repair.)

Good morning ~
Merry Friday!
We’re expecting a couple of inches of snow this morning with highs near 32 degrees. Not too much going on here, I’m just having my coffee and playing with my puppy. Rocky had another vet appointment yesterday, he’s doing really well. He gained a pound already! They grow so fast. Anyway, typical day here of errands and chores. I need to work on a menu plan and grocery list as well. I have to figure out what I want to make on Superbowl Sunday.

Good Friday morning! A day off for me after working 12 hours yesterday. And we got up very esrly this morning to beat traffic and go feed my in-laws' birds. Chores and laundry are planned and a nap somewhere in there. I'm also counting down the days to a 2-week staycation starting February 9th. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Just think. In over 11 years, that's about 4,000 times the count has been presented.
(Makes my fingers feel sore just thinking about it!)

But duty calls, so here we go again:

Days to Christmas Day: 326

Our next pending Milestone?
Well, it's getting closer and closer by the day, now showing on the horizon just TEN days off. SINGLE DIGITS from TOMORROW, Folks.
(Of course, we are speaking of the 1/4 point to Christmas Season 2018!)

Well, the promised warm respite was experienced and enjoyed yesterday. Our high reached 61 and it was sunny and calm. A truly beautiful day to start off February.
Today? Well we are at 44 degrees here right now and it's not supposed to get any warmer by this afternoon. At least it's clear with no chance of rain showing.

Another plus. It's Weekend Eve again!
Have a great one --- and a Fabulous Friday, as well.

Good Morning ... Colder today but sunny. TGIF ... I didn't think the end of this week was ever gonna get here. Now if the weekend goes as slow as this week did I will be very happy Still working on the menu for the superbowl game but it looks to be pulled pork sandwiches, macaroni salad, dips and chips and brownies. The great thing about that menu is that will be left overs for lunch Monday

This is the Nova Scotia Groundhog... He didn't see his shadow this morning.

However Ontario's Wiarton Willie and Pennsylvania's Punxsutawney Phil both saw shadows, and it has been a winter like that. One day cold and wintry and the next day Spring like.
