Good afternoon .... Sun is out today but it's cold! Of course yesterday had the rain and the well above average temps. Puddles everywhere from all the rain we had. Well we have a lot of friends who went to the parade today. According the local news people were lining up at the parade route around 3 am. My facebook feed is filled with pictures from the parade and man oh man it's packed there. I don't do well with large crowds like that .. guess that is because my tolerance level for rudeness and idiots is very very low LOL ... well I hope everyone stays warm today and has a great day!

Oh, I bet the parade was crazy!! Can you imagine what the parade would be like IF the Browns ever made it there?? Ha ha ha ha - back to reality!!

Thanks, Meceka!! Mom’s appointment the other day went okay. They had to replace one of the speaker on one of her hearing aids. She says it’s still acting up though so we are going back tomorrow for him to look at it again. Then 30 minutes later it’s across the street to her regular doctor for a check up.

The forecast amounts are changing every hour. There are three models that are being looked at and last time I checked, there could be anywhere from less than an inch to seven. There is a potential for a lot of snow further south, but not sure if it will get down your way. Be safe!

What is today, Wednesday? lol... We've been sick here for 2-3 days now. We picked up an intestinal bug that totally grounded us to stay at home for days now. I was just thinking the other day, that this might be the first year that we may get by this winter without catching something; nope, didn't happen!!!

Well, it's another one of those icky days outside, it started out as snow, the sleet, then freezing rain, now rain and it's supposed to turn back over to snow before this mess ends tonight. And me, I guess its because I'm not feeling like myself, I have not been able to get warm all day. I got the heat up, a blanket around me and I'm still feeling cold; especially my extremities.

Hope everyone is doing well, stay warm and dry!

Good Thursday morning! What should have been average snowfall yesterday turned into a snow storm, with lots of accidents on the roads. A couple of employees who live about 20 minutes away took almost 2 hours to get home, because visibility on the highways was simply awful. By the time I finished work at 9:30pm, there was little snow falling so it was safer to drive, though slippery. I am tired of Winter and snow, I've had enough. At least the sun is out today.

Anyway, I was up early watching Olympics curling and now ski jumping. I love to watch the Olympics, this put me in a better mood. I will go into work early again today, I have too many things to do before I start my vacation tomorrow when I finish work. And I keep adding items to my list as they pop into my head, sometimes in the middle of the night. I don't want to forget anything, especially since our store manager will be away at the company's national conference for part of mext week and we're usually the ones who make sure nothing is forgotten. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Lol!!! Ella always slept in the kennel at night. Well my aunt finally decided that she’d just let her out and let her sleep wherever. That worked for a couple weeks. Then she decided to start scratching at my aunts bedroom door and barking every hour. When my aunt would open the door, she’d be standing there with her ball ready to play. After a couple weeks of that, Ella is now back to sleeping in the kennel.

Thank you so very much for the well wishes. I spent about half the day in bed off and on, slept every time I did too. I'm still feeling like something sucked the energy right out of me. Tomorrows Friday, debating if I should go in or just make a longer weekend out of it. The wife headed in to work today, but she's about a day ahead of me with this too.

It’s gong to be cloudy and chilly today with highs near 35 degrees. Not too much going on here, I’m just having my coffee and I am working on a menu plan and grocery list for next week. I’ll be heading out to the butcher later this morning. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. The girls are all off today which is nice, we’re going to order a pizza for lunch. And I’m making beef stew for dinner. That’s about it for me.

TGIF, Christmas friends!

I have to leave early today to work a spaghetti plate fundraiser at school for Elizabeth's class. Nancy dropped off the spaghetti sauce at the lunchroom this morning, and the older lady who runs it asked if Nancy was planning to help later. She told her no, but that that I was coming, instead. The lady said, "Oh, we just love it when the husbands come to work!" I'm assuming I have some heavy lifting in my near future.

Elizabeth's dance competition starts tonight, too, and runs all weekend, so I have my plans for the weekend.
