Christmas Countdown - 2018

Good morning ~
Merry Friday!
We’re going to have sun and clouds today with highs near 40 degrees. Not too much going on here. I’m going to make a Target run later this morning. I also plan on stopping at the butcher on the way home. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. I’m taking a break from cooking tonight and we’re going to order pizza. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day and a wonderful weekend ahead!

Good morning and happy Friday to all you Christmas lovers! Big day at our house yesterday. One that we’ve worked for for months now. On our way home from the boys music lessons, dear wife and I stopped at our credit union and paid off our outstanding car loan. That takes care of everything. No more debt, including mortgage!

We owe it all to Dave Ramsey and his Financial Peace University!!! Highly recommended!

Good morning MMC! TGIF!!! This week seems like it took a month. LOL!!

Does anybody have big plans for the weekend? My hubby has to run the Louisville route tonight. I'm not thrilled about that. He hasn't done the overnight route for years! Hopefully he's able to get some sleep late this afternoon/early evening! xx Tomorrow we are going to the lake! Some of our neighbors are coming up. Our friend is playing at the bar just up the road from our trailers & it's a St. Patty's Day party. I better find something green!

Today it's 3 years since Dad passed away, & tomorrow is 6 years since my brother passed away. Couple of sad days, but time to celebrate their lives! ♥

Today we have bright sunshine with a high of 40 predicted. BUT I keep getting ICE warnings for tomorrow morning. UGH! Hopefully my hubby doesn't run into any of that! By Sunday it's supposed to be sunny & 52! Crazy weather!

Happy milestone day, happy Thursday and happy Friday eve!!!

I cannot believe we are at the 1/3rd mark already; that’s a nice slice of the pie! I’m loving it now!!!

How about this, the confidence is building and growing to be a consenses between the computer models that we are going to get another Nor’easter like Tuesday or Wednesday! Right now, they just cannot figure out where the rain/ snow line will be.

Old man winter is holding on with a powerful grip!!!!

Good Friday very early morning! I woke up at 2am and couldn't get back to sleep. I'm sure I'll doze off at some point. And as I'm working the afternoon/evening shift, I can try to sleep some more in the morning. I was in Montréal for a loss prevention meeting all day yesterday and it took me 1h30 minutes to get home (traffic) when it usually takes 35 minutes to drive that distance. And now cold temperatures are moving back in. I'm ready for Winter to be over already and for the weekend to arrive. Hope you all enjoy a great day coming up!

Hope you get some rest!! I was like that a few nights ago..ugh!

Morning MMC. TGIF! Middle Day of March already. Looks like we have a nice weekend ahead just chilly but sunny. I am hopeful the storm next week isn't a big deal which right now it doesn't sound like it will be. Just going to celebrate Rollins 2nd birthday on Saturday with some cake and toys. Funny it's my sister's birthday next week but she said she feels it's being overshadowed by Rollins. Hope you have a great TGIF!

I see a couple people with plans for St. Patrick's Day ... who else is celebrating? I think I'll have a glass of cider and watch "Mrs. Brown's Boys" and "Father Ted"!

I'd like to find some real Irish soda bread without raisins, currants, sugar, eggs, or caraway seeds, but all that I've seen locally has the add-ins. Maybe I'll make a loaf myself if I have the energy.

Awwww man!!! Not a good sign! I can hear the downstairs neighbors two year old, screaming his head off and It’s almost 9:30 pm. This past weekend, we heard him up laughing and running around at 1:30 in the morning. There’s a single (wild) mom down there with a 2 and a 4 year old.

We are so troubled by all we hear that goes on down there with all the yelling and screaming and fighting. We’ve told the landlord a few times, but he does nothing. We are starting to think that she leaves the apartment and leaves them both at home st times, alone and by themselves. It’s sad!

That is sad. You are good neighbors praying for them! It won't be long & you'll be in your very own abode!

It may be hard to accept, but as of March 26, just TEN days from today's date, we will be a full 1/4 of the way back to Christmas Day.
Let that sink in a bit. A QUARTER of the way. SINGLE DIGITS from tomorrow!
(How can the year possibly be moving by so fast, Folks?)

We took a warm turn weather-wise yesterday, and climbed into the 60's.
It was sunny too, but rather windy. In fact, owing to the wind and extremely low humidity, there were fire warnings out.
Today should be nice too, back into the 60's, with lower wind velocities.
We have begun this Weekend Eve at 45 degrees here in the state capital.
