Good Morning, Everybody.
Half the weekend gone.
Half of the weekend remaining.
And as we begin part II of our end-of-the-week respite, let's pause and contemplate the latest intelligence briefing:
Days to the Season: 212
Days to Christmas Day: 254
And an important part of the briefing is detailing those critical Milesteone markers and assessing their proximinty.
Well, the first to arrive later this month is the 1/3 Christmas Day point, now just 11 days away. (SINGLE DIGITS from the day after tomorrow.)
Add a day to 12 and we reach the 200-Day Season Window.
Back-to-Back markers just around the bend!
It was almost TOO warm yesterday as we moved into the 80's. But with low humitidy, it was really pretty nice, with plenty of sun and no rain.
Today will see a repeat before cooler weather arrives for tomorrow.
We currently record 68 degrees on our back-door thermometer.

It’s going to be cloudy & chilly today with a chance of showers. Not too much going on here, I’ll be heading to my daughters apartment today to hang out for a little while, they’re waiting for furniture to be delivered. Back home afterward to work on the laundry and make lasagna for dinner. That’s about it. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Like others, it's cold and cloudy here today, highs not much above freezing, with sleet and freezing rain expected. But that's nothing compared to the beating they're getting in the western U.S., with blizzard conditions in some places. Hello, April??

With all of the rain, my backyard has a fair amount of standing water. It is so gray and dreary outside today.

9 years ago today I was sitting at the computer wondering how many days were left to Christmas. A quick google search later and I stumbled upon this site. I never would have imagined the joy and happiness it would bring me or the friends that I would make. Oh and meet a camel that used to be a government spy but now runs the coolest resort this side of the Mississippi.

Aww!!! So cute!!!
Good morning ... We want from a beautiful sunny day with a high of 82 yesterday to a chilly rainy day with a high of 49 forecasted for today. We got a lot of yard work done yesterday and today I will finish up the laundry and some cleaning inside. This weekend really reminds me more of a fall weekend then a spring weekend. Going to roast a chicken for dinner and bake brownies for dessert

Was really busy yesterday and didn't get to check in. The family went and spread my Dad's ashes as his favorite place on the Earth....his deer camp. Our deer camp has a church that was built in 1872 there and a huge open field behind it. There are two trees sitting out there and my Dad loved that spot. That is where we poured his ashes. It was an amazing time.
Today, more or the same....
Cleaning, cooking, getting my clothes ready for the week....and a little playoff basketball....not too bad of a day. This evening, I will submit my last paper (all 18 pages of it) for my specialist degree. I'm pretty excited.

Thank you Martine. Yes, it’s the first time Rocky has been around a group of dogs. We went over the basics, sit, stand, down, etc. I’m having a hard time with him, he doesn’t even want to walk on his leash. Hopefully he’ll learn to love it. I really want to walk him!
