So this is how Loki stares at my red stress ball and then lies down hoping I'll throw it to him, when I do my physio exercises. Every. Single. Time.

This month of April is turning out to be awful. We haven't put away our boots and Winter gear yet. There's a saying in French that says "En avril, ne te découvre pas d'un fil", which basically means "In April, don't peal away the layers yet". I found an old British saying that says the same: "Ne'er cast a clout till May be out". Try and stay warm ballcoach.Well, a rare Monday morning check-in for me....my normal routine involved waking up at 5:00 and working on my college assignments, but that is over, now. The early waking up? Not quite done....
Just checked the temp outside and it is 35 degrees.
What?!?!?! It is April the 16th...Mother Nature transposed her numbers...it should be 53, at least! This is non-sense. Bad news is that I put all my heavy coats up and I don't have anything to wear. Looks like it will just be a chilly morning!
Y'all have a great day!
Thanks Crown! Have a good start to the 2nd half of April!Good New Week Morning, Folks.
Getting mighty near now to TWO Milestones, about which we will talk after the presentation of today's figures.
Days to the Season: 211
Days to Christmas Day: 253
That first number shows us that as of THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, we will be down to SINGLE DIGITS to the 200-Day Season Window.
But the day before that, we will be down to single digits to the ONE-THIRD Christmas Day marker, now just 10 days ahead.
Dual Milestones just up the road!
Warm again yesterday, but with an evening rain and a tornado watch that became a severe thunderstorm warning. (No damage at our place.)
Today should be calm and sunny but possibly 20 degrees cooler, and we have commenced it damp, at 51 degrees here in the capital city.
Have a Marvelous Monday, Everybody!
I hope you have a great week.
Good Monday morning! Everything is an icy mess out there right now. Thankfully I have cleets so I could walk Loki this morning. I'm working the afternoon/evening shift but I have to take a conference call at 10am. Have a great day everyone!
Good morning MMC! "Merry" Monday!!! How can the weekend go so fast???? It's chilly & dreary here today. Yesterday was rain, rain, rain!! Today is a high of 37 with wind, wind, wind! LOL Oh, and a chance of snow later.
Other than work, I don't have much planned for the day. I'm going to help with mom in a bit. She had kind of a rough weekend! Poor lady!! She was stronger, but her mind...
Everyone, have a great day!!!

Thank you, Holiday. It will be perfect weather for reading a Christmas book or two!![]()
How exciting. I hope everything goes smooth!!!Happy Friday!
Looks like rain is trying to move in, it's sprinkling a little bit, and there are some pretty dark clouds out there. Temperature wise, it's beautiful. I went for a little walk at lunchtime, and I didn't want to come back to the office. I got the window open to let some fresh air come in while I'm eating my good-boy salad for lunch!
We are now down to less than 2 weeks before closing on our new home. Things are still moving in a positive direction and the excitement is really building. We've got a moving company now scheduled, to move us around the end of June and then after closing, it will be packing, getting rid of things, doing the utilities stopping and starting, prepping for moving in for the next 2 months; so exciting!
I hope everyone has a great weekend.
Such a bummer that she passed away before she could write Z is for Zero!Merry Saturday!
The forecast has improved somewhat. At the moment it is raining with some drops freezing on contact. The bulk of the ice is supposed to happen tomorrow morning which is a big change from the forecast last night.
It is going to be a relaxing, storm-watching weekend for me. Started reading the latest Sue Grafton, "Y is for Yesterday", earlier today. Not very far into the book and it is already quite interesting.
Be safe and merry!
