Hello all,
We made the switch from the iphone to the Google pixel. I am still trying to figure it all out, but so far I like the new phone.
Last night was the academic awards ceremony for the high school. It is one my favorite school events. It is great to see students recognized for scholarship. We give out departmental awards, lots of scholarships are announced, Nation Honor Society students are recognized, and much more. It is just a wonderful evening.

Merry Tuesday and Merry May!
The temperature hit 82* today. It hasn't been that hot since October 17 of last year. Gorgeous out!
Went to the local library's book sale today and found lots of good books at reasonable prices: hardcovers were 3 for $1 and paperbacks were 5 for $1. Most of the books I got are for the store, but there are a few I picked up to read.
This week is the M-15 garage sales stretching from Bay City to Clarkston so of course there is a 90% chance of rain and thunderstorms, heavy at times, on the day I have planned to go. As of now, I'm still going out as I could find some good items for the store. It'll be fun!

Rocky did pretty well, thank you for asking. He walked on his harness & leash with the other dogs. The trainer was teasing me about how Rocky and I got sent to the middle of the circle the first day because he wasn’t cooperating lol. Thankfully he’s making progress!

Be careful what you wish for ... they're probably working on that already. In a few years, you'll be going to have your chip implanted that will make these things possible.
Your right! I actually heard that they (government/ powers that are un-seen in conjunction of tech companies, have invented a chip will be implanted under your skin and it will have your new ID number on it.
That, is one freakishly crazy idea that they have plans to actually do in the near future.

Morning MMC. Happy May Pines Day! It was perfect here yesterday and today will be warmer. Low 80s and sunny. Just taking it all in. Ran in shorts this morning. Felt good. Been too long to have this weather. Other than that just a regular work day. Rollins is loving this weather too. Hope you are all having a good week thus far!

It’s going to be sunny and warm today with temperatures in the mid 70’s. I’ll definitely get out side to enjoy the weather with Rocky. I may take a ride to a local park to take a walk. Not sure if that will be too much for Rocky so I’ll have to take his stroller. Other than that it will be a typical day. I’ll run a couple of quick errands when I get the chance and I’ll be working on my daily chores. Dinner will be baked ziti. That’s about it. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day. Good Wednesday morning! Temperatures will rise above 20°C/70°F today but the skies are grey and threatening rain and it's windy. I have the day off to attend a brunch thrown for all employees in our district who have been with the company for 5-10-15-20 years. I'm celebrating my 20th year (technically later this month), I have no idea where time has gone. I had to take medication this morning to try and contain my cold symptoms, I hope it doesn't knock me out like it did on Sunday afternoon. At least I will be home early to rest. Hope everyone will have a great day!

And there is nothing that persuades us more that Christmas is well on its way than our steady march of Milestone markers.
Let's look at the daily numbers, then we can tackle the pending Milestones.
Days to the Season: 195
Days to Christmas Day: 237
OK. We are now drawing nigh to a truly major marker.
It's the HALF WAY point to the Season.
And it is now LESS than 2 weeks away. A scant 13 days.
(Wowzers, Guys!)
It just keeps getting warmer and warmer. If it wasn't for the still low humidity, it would have felt like summer outside yesterday.
Today is supposed to be even warmer and the weather service says we could potentially hit 90 by tomorrow or Friday.
(OK. Enough is enough. Too early for that kind of heat!)
We have begun this mid-week morning at 62 sunny degrees here in the state capital.
And speaking of mid-week, that means 'Pines Day, of course. And that in turn means that Carl gets his weekly chance to shine. (And that camel LOVES to shine, as we all know!)
Be sure to show up at our inn of choice this evening to see what our friendly and zany activities director has polished up for us.
Until then, each and every one of you have the most Wonderful Wednesday of your lives.
And let the spirit of Christmas motivate you to shine, too!
