Good morning, yall. Rained overnight...battling a wicked sore throat this morning. About to go outside and play....

Y'all have a good day!

Hope the sore throat don't get worse, and enjoy the time outside today.

Good morning/afternoon everyone. Just getting ready to walk Harper over to a church few houses down the road. They seem to be doing a family fun day if the weather holds off a bit today. Never can turn down a free hot dogs and games for kids so yea.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hi, Auntie. Nice of you to check in!
How's O'Malley?

O'Malley remains King of all wild things; put up a big fight this morning not to go into his dog cage, but once his favourite groomer rescued him from his cage he was an Angel and feels and looks so much better.
We had a house guest last weekend so he was a bit out of sorts about having to share our living space with a stranger, but he didn't attack - that's always good.

Well, nearly a week since I've stopped by - where does the time go?

I seem to be having a really hard time getting used to the idea that my mom isn't around especially so close to Mother's Day. I talk to her all the time in my head and a few times I've woken up hearing her voice speaking louder than usual to me.

I decided on Mother's Day, to pay tribute by treating myself to a Mother's Day Surprise Meal and playing some of her favourite music. It's better just to find some way to include her rather than to miss her terribly.

My dad went for his first solo vacation since her passing over the Christmas holidays. I'm glad he was able to visit with both brothers in different cities and catch up with a few old friends and relatives he hasn't seen for along time.

If all goes well, we should be bringing "mom's urn" to Nova Scotia this summer to release her ashes.

Beautiful weather today and the birds and buds are taking some of the "icky earth smell" off my mind.

Keep a merry thought in your head! -surprise-

I was having a hard time concentrating at work so I tossed some jazzy instrumental Christmas music into my CD drive on the computer for background and it worked like magic. It worked so well that I switched it out for some classics. I accomplished more with the music playing than I would have if I had just been doing my work without it.

Stay Jolly!

Spending my day cleaning out my room in my parents’ place which has for the last 10 years become a storage room more than anything else. It feels so great to get so much done!!! Looking forward to a calm evening tonight. Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!!

Morning MMC! 1 week till Mothers Day! It's a cloudy day here with some showers possible. But that's ok because the week ahead looks like we have amazing weather which will be enjoyable. Just having some French Toast this morning and then going to do some errands. Have a great Sunday!

Good Morning, Everyone far and wide throughout the length, breadth and height of the mighty MMC Nation.

Rise, shine and hold your head up proudly, for you are among the very select who truly understand the year-wide value of Christmas and its glorious season.

Now. While you justifiably bask in pride, take a sidelong glance at this:
Days to the Season: 191
Days to Christmas Day: 233

Then. Take a deep breath and take notice of the fact that we, as of this date, are just NINE days away from being HALF WAY to the beginning of Christmas Season 2018.
(Yes, Folks. That's SINGLE DIGITS to this most important and significant Milestone marker.)

Continued pleasant, low humidity warmth here in central NC.
Today may possibly bring us some rain, but it won't be stormy.
Our weekend part II has commenced here at 67 degrees.

Have a Super Sunday, my Friends!

Thinking of you Auntie...my Mom has been gone 6 years. Sounds like you have a good way to remember your Mom next week. It is strange how it becomes a new normal after you lose a loved one.

Merry Sunday...hope you all have a good day. No real plans for today just relaxing and maybe I will watch a Christmas show. Looks like it is going to be a cloudy cooler day.

Auntie, I understand how you feel, I feel it too, with my love for my grandparents (who were my loving parents)!
Your mom is and will always be with you because everyday, you hold her dearly in your heart and keep the memories of her in your mind; love, is what will bind us together with them for all of eternity.
