Yup, I think you totally summed up the computer/ software experiences as a whole. And you know what, just imagine how it's going to be in another 20-30 years from now. I can't even imagine where things are going to be at then.
I'm sorry to hear of the loss of you Aunt Holiday.

Good morning MMC! "Merry" Monday!!! So I get into work this morning & the AC is set at 65º!!!
Needless to say, it's not running now cuz I bumped it up! It's chilly out this morning - 60º & very breezy. Why is the air even on??? Brrrrrr!!!
We gad SUCH a fun weekend at the lake. It was so nice knowing mom was taken care of & I went to the lake Friday & didn't come home until Sunday evening! Friday night we had snacks at our trailer ~ I made stuffed jalapeno's. YUM! Saturday morning I watched the Royal Wedding, then 4 of us girls went to Amishville, Flower shopping. We filled the truck again! SO FUN!!! We met the boys at a local pub & we had cheese curds. OMGosh!! So, so good!! Then we went to another place where we split an order of brisket fries & we tried their bbq brisket pizza. Such yummy food!! We will be going back!We had lots of laughs & yesterday we had a flower planting party at the lake. Just a fun, fun weekend!
Then, I got the sad news yesterday that my moms youngest sister passed away. So sad. She is such a neat person & will be missed by many! She was really struggling towards the end of fighting pancreatic cancer, so she is now at peace & no more pain!
I just pulled "A Christmas Prince" up on Netflix. Might have to listen to that on Netflix this morning. Seems like a good thing to do today!

Morning MMC! Last night I did something that I hadn't done in 5 years. I fell asleep with my contacts in my eyes all night. Sure I've fell asleep on the couch for 10 minutes with them in before but not actually went to bed and forgot to take them out and slept 7 hours. I got up and they were all dried up but came right out of my eyes and fortunately my eyes don't seem to be red or bothering me at all. I know you can get an infection or worse from doing that. Naturally. one of the things that helps put us in a friendly mood is the ever-declining nature of our daily count.
And sure enough, today's numbers have declined from yesterday's!
Days to the Season: 175
Days to Christmas Day: 217
The distance between us and our next Milestone marker keeps declining on a daily basis as well.
The marker in question is the 200-day Christmas Day Window and the distance away has now dwindled down to a bare 17 days. UNDER 2 1/2 weeks, now.
(Won't be too long now before we are talking single digits again!)
Wow. The rain really came down yesterday evening. My beloved Crabtree Valley Mall was evacuated because of a flood threat. (That has happened many times before, of course.)
Today should see less of a precipitation threat, but it's still there.
We have opened things at 69 degrees here in Wake County and it's rather overcast.

Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday!! So far it's a beautiful morning but storms are supposed to move in for the afternoon. Then it appears we should have a nice evening. USUALLY they are wrong though & the storms come through later than predicted so when I get off work, it will probably start. HA!!
Not much going on today besides work. My aunts obit finally came out last night so I'll be off work Thursday for a funeral. UGH! I'd rather be at work!
I did start watching (listening too) A Christmas Prince yesterday so I'll probably turn that back on in the background later this morning! Makes working more enjoyable!

I will just add that I LOVE our smoker!!
I bought it for my hubby but I don't think he's ever used it. It's always me. LOL!!! I don't think there's really a comparison between the taste of grilled & smoked food. Smoked is a definite flavor of it's own!
