Good Wednesday morning! A nice Summer morning before rain moves in tonight. I have to take our car in for routine maintenance and to have our brakes checked. Once in a random while they make a high-pitched noise. David will be at work so I’ll just do the usual laundry and chores until the car is ready. Hope everyone will have a nice day.

Good morning! It’s been a busy few days. Yesterday was supposed to be my day off, but there was a call off and they asked me to stay, so I ended up working 16 hours. I was exhausted by 9 pm last night, being up 30+ hours and crashed.

We plan to take the kids to the movies this am and are supposed to attend a baseball game tonight, but with the weather that is on the way, I’m thinking it will be canceled.

Hope you all enjoyed Milestone Day and have a great day today!

Good Morning/Afternoon christmas friends...Hope everyone is all well today....Its another sizzling day here today..Been in my deck chair for almost 3hrs so had to come in because i am like a fried tomato...Gonna visit my mom and dad after lunch then pick the girls up from school and take them to feed the ducks...Enjoy your daya head christmas friends:)

Morning MMC! I'm off today to break up this week. And of course next Wednesday I'm off for the 4th of July to break up that week too. Have to rearrange my couple of days off for July and August and push them back but might get a 4 day break in late July and late August that way. Not so bad. Enjoy your Wednesday!

Good Morning, Friends.
With our latest Milestone in the rear-view mirror, let's take a break for today and present the daily count without the stress of the next marker.

Days to the Season: 139
Days to Christmas Day: 181

(But be forewarned, the next Milestone is a doozy.
Brace yourselves!)

Well, we cooled off nicely yesterday, but had to absorb quite a bit of rain in the process. No real problem, though. We were a bit on the dry side and could use the moisture.
Today should be clear and the heat will be starting to build, again.
We stand just over 69 degrees here at this hour on this mid-week Hump Day.

Speaking of mid-week and humps, Carl comes to mind. What also comes to mind is that this is the first 'Pines open house of summer!
As such, our friendly activities director no doubt has some appropriately-themed activities planned, about which we will not know unless we go.
Hope to see you there.

In the interim, you have a Wonderful Wednesday, Folks!

Thanks Crown! I'm afraid of the next milestone!

Good morning MMC! Merry Pines Day!! Not much going on today besides work. Tonight we have a family meeting at our house. Was hoping to have it under the tent, but oh well!!
Our neighbors were over last night to help clean up the mess. That was a huge help!!! I think everything is ok - there is 1 tube that's a little bent on the tent, but it's still useable. It was just crazy how fast that happened!
Everyone, have a great day!!

Yes!!! I had just put my shoes on to go to Hobby Lobby when the first bolt of lighting hit. I decided it could wait a few hours.

The second line that just went through wasn’t nearly as bad.
It was a crazy storm for a bit! WOW!

Fingers crossed the tent is okay!!
Thanks made. I think it should be good to go. It's drying out at the farm right now. LOL

It was a great show and the BMI was different than I expected. It was relatively small which was nice. Everything is close to the stage. It is general admission and they have some bleacher seats as well as folding chairs you can move anywhere. They also had some tables set up. A lot of people were standing up by the stage as well. Overall, it was really good.
We will have to check it out sometime! Glad you had a good time!

See you tonight for the 1st Pines Day of summer!

Happy Hump Day! Looks like it is going to be a cloudy day with some heavy rain/t-storms tonight and then the heat and humidity come in. Hard to believe July 4th is next week...just work for me today and tonight I am catching up on laundry. Hope you all have a great day!

good morning MMC !!

beautiful morning here as we in Canada count down to our Canada day long weekend.
We are heading out to camp David for the whole weekend and it promises to be a hot one with temperatures over 40 c ! (104f) a good time to hang out under the trees and by the pol .
Hope you are all well and enjoying your summer.
Excited about Christmas in July !!!
Yes, it’s going to be a steamer this weekend! Try not to overheat! My A/C will be on full blast!

:D:D:D:D:D
Leon Day is the halfway point. Six months from and to Christmas, June 25.
Leon is Noel spelled backwards.

Some businesses do Leon Day sales, though not a common thing. Some see it as the start of Christmas in July.
So my baseball confusion was because there was a baseball player named Leon Day!
